I think it's awesome!
Nice ! Another audio serie that's really great ! I'm glad that they kept the same narator (on the french version at least).
The whole revelation that Arator could be (and IMO very likely IS) the child of Light and Shadow makes total sense! Hence why the confrontation between Xe'ra and Illidan ended the way it did. Also interesting was my change in opinion about Xe'ra and the Naaru in general... Previously I would have thought of them as ultimately benevolent, but they have their own agendas and sometimes mortals are just expendable pawns in their plans.
Brb, levelling a Shadow Hunter. And These Posters, goddammit they're awesome!
I freakin LOVE this lore. Sylvanas has always been one of my favorite characters. Now that I'm learning that she has 2 sisters, and one of them is the main focus of the current patches? It's amazing!I really like how Alleria started out following the light, and has seen that the Light only has half of the story. And when she starts to look to the void, she realizes the Void also only has half of the story. So she is probably the only person around, besides Locus Walker, to understand that neither is all knowing, and both are flawed. I'm honestly hoping to see Alleria become a full-fledged void-hunter. Warchief Vol'jin was a shadow hunter, but he didn't seem all that different from a regular hunter. I'm really hoping Alleria gets some awesome void abilities that will set her apart from your average hunter, and show how powerful the void is when you manage to retain your sanity.
I enjoyed the audio drama and I think it was much needed. While Legion as a whole has been amazing and the story has been great, the narrative of 7.3 feels a little "loose" and this helps to alleviate that.
The audio drama was amazing, was looking forward to some more Alleria and Turalyon stuff <3
Oh man, I like this. The voice actors they used were pretty good - I almost wish it'd just been one person doing different voices, like an audio book, but I'll take the step up in production quality. This definitely seems to be setting us up for an expansion or new... class? Spec? We've gotta be able to embrace the void here soon somehow. I do really like that they're writing these more prominent characters without overly frustrating character flaws, simply personal beliefs that are easy to accept while not going full zealot. And they freakin' glow! So that's impressive. Mmmmm yeah. Really excited to see what happens with the world soul. :)
This audio drama was awesome, even better than the Tomb of Sargeras one. I love how it sheds some light (har har) on X'era and how the light and shadow are like opposite sides of the same coin. Really looking forward to seeing how they explore this in the future. Plus, I loved Alleria's crazy bit at the end where she ended that demon. I do NOT want to mess with her, or her son.
I loved the audio drama so much it was very interesting to finally learn what has been happening to these characters when they were away from us for so long. I really hope that Allerias void powers have some major role in the next raid or in a future expansion.
Downloaded the audio to listen to while i walked my dog, Poor dog got an extra long walk due to me wanting to finish before i returned.Of course both light and shadow are flawed if you do not have a little of both, Without light there can be no shadow !
With this bit of knowledge it brings me to this. Alleria having the power of the void now in her control is reinforcing the future expansions being more Old God and Void oriented. For example I think if there were a void type expansion Alleria would be leading most of the charge but at about 2/3 of the way through would lose control and we would have to kill her or Velen or Turalyon would somehow purify her. Either way in the coming expansions she seems to be ramping up to play a major role and I am extremely curious to see how! Keep up the good work!
This is such a nice way of diving deep into the lore and also opening gates for the future. Answers so many questions and also raises so many. Well Done! Blizzard.
I love podcasts and so an audio drama is a great addition to the lore. It's also interesting to see silithus get more attention! I have a love for those desert zones. :)
Очень атомсферно, слушал с удовольствием! Спасибо!
I wanted to lern more about Alleria/windrunner sisters and Turalyon and this is just perfect! i listened to this when i was going to sleep, and it's just amazing with the "sound effects" and the music and the voice actors. It's like you are there with them almost. Now i know i little bit more about them and i want to see more of these stories. Please continue with this amazing work blizzard. And those posters and the artwork is incredible. cheers love.
The audio was just amazing holy s#¤!
It was cool, didn't like all the spoilers throughout the entire post though.
I've always been interested in the juxtaposition of 'light' and 'dark', so this is fascinating... And, those posters are gorgeous!
I'm super nervous about everything void-and old god that seems to be coming up in recent weeks, I haven't listened to the audio because I'm trying to keep spoiler free until the next patch >.< I guess we'll see if Legion is done hurting more prominent lore characters but with a year left, who knows. Definitely interested to see the not so good side of the light if we even get to, with Xera's being gone.
