I believe, as many have stated, that my most expensive purchase(s) have been Game Tokens. A few months ago, I got my first (and only) one for about 36k. I had to stop playing for financial reasons and when I was recently able to come back, I checked on the price again and they had exploded up to 156k on my server.
My most expensive buy would have to be when I caved and bought Spectral Tiger Cub or Soul-Trader Beacon, darn those TCGs being so tempting! -shakes fist- I can't remember the price I paid for them but I've only bought one of the jewel panther mounts to next compare in price and those two pets are way more then those mount XD
Although it may not be among the serious gold deals, I remember doing a super fast Vial of the Sands purchase in the AH, for around 75k, to kind of surprise a friend of mine who was so frustrated he didn't have flying in Legion when everyone had unlocked it months ago, so I ran him through a bunch of Legion Invasions and WQ and he got some rep, shards and gold in the way. Eventually this pushed him even more into getting the Pathfinder achiev. and I got to keep a fancy dragon, lol.
Honestly not sure as I don't buy mounts / pets or expensive stuff for myself so should be top few hundred k while flipping items. Cheers and keep up the good work, last week was my top gold making 800 k pure profit, while I have a family with kids and full time job.
I dont often buy things on Auction House as I have top level farmers and crafters, but I did buy a Crimson Deathcharger a few years ago and it was around 50k gold. I dont think I have bought anything more expensive than that since.
I'm really poor and i'm too lazy to farm and sell. my most expensive purchase was a tmog item for 14k
Can't remember what exactly it was, but i think that it cost over 50k. Probably a mount.
My most expensive purchase from the AH was probably the Vial of Sands. Worth it though :) nice mount and very useful for transporting noobs around ;D
I've never bought anything really exciting off the auction house. I think probably my most expensive purchase was a staff of some sort for my druid back in the days of vanilla. I couldn't for the life of me tell which one it was as I don't remember lol.
I was quite new I started in draenor and I sat and farmed giant dinosaur bones in isle of the giants continuously and then sit trying to sell them even nobody wanted them until I eventually had 167k to get a spectral tiger, There's no way I was sitting through enough bones to get a swift one lol.
It was the jeweled sapphire panther. It costed me 22k. Well, it's not that much but still imo it's the most expensive item which I've bought on the AH.
The most expensive thing I bought is WoW token. Buying it ever since it came out, spent around 2 mil gold on it so far cause that is my only way of paying monthly for the game time. It is around 256k on EU realms, so yes, could say that is the most expensive purchase I did (and still doing). Can't afford to spend gold on anything else, but raiding supplies.Besides that, I sold Crimson Deathcharger back in WoD for 75k, bought it later on for 36k and that is the most expensive thing I've bought besides game time.Would also like to thank you for gold making guides, those helped me a lot to get some money and stay in game! <3
Hello Wowhead communityThe most money I have spend on the auction house has got to be on buying materials to level professions. Also spend alot for crafting materials. If you want to make certain items it can get pretty expensive but good that is all part of the game!I think we can all agree that the Auction House is a brilliant feature in World of Warcraft. It is a very good simulation towards real life.I hope you all enjoy the game ;-)Kind regardsAnthony
I bought Reins of the Crimson Deathcharger and tabard of the lightbringer, for 200k, and sold them for 280k.Was a good investment.Tsm, helped me a bit, getting some gold, when i most needed it.Have a nice day everybody.
I bet the most expensive thing I purchased from the AH was Hatespark the Tiny. As an avid pet collector I just had to have the special elemental that dropped from Ragnaros during the special Molten Core event, and I never found one myself.
Tol'vir Hieroglyphs when I was trying to get the bug mount from Archeology. There were about 1200gold a piece and I bought a LOT of them. Worth it though!
I don't buy a lot of things from the AH. But most of the profession mounts came from there, so I would say the Jeweled panther is probably the biggest purchase I made.
I think i didnt buy anything that expensive to lits here...im one of the people that are afraid to spend their money haha ! I think i paid most for a Darkmoon Deck: Promises for 18k !
I honestly don't remember purchases that much on the ah since I do it almost daily: trying to expand my mog collection, recipes, mats. However, one that sticks out to me is Vial of Sands that teaches the Sandstone Drake mount. I had been watching its prices since I desperately wanted a two seater mount since I carried my fiance's lower toons a lot. I believe I bought it for 50-60k on the Staghelm realm back during the dreanor expansion I believe. Two thirds of the way through on my rogue cause that's when they did pick pocketing like crazy and when tannan wasn't out so they we also doing missives, lfr, ect. The prices now are 100k+ and I'm glad I bought it then.
Just bought a swift spectral tiger for 6.1mil, recently. Wanted one since WoD, never had enough gold to buy them, till now.
