I have to say I believe it was a Ethereal Soul-Trader for about 64,000 . I've bought many of things on the AH. But seldom go over 30,000 for anything. But trading card Items that are cheaper work for me :POh I bought a Game token for my cousin for 162,000 . Trying to get her into WOW.
I paid 250k for a BMAH mount once. That's the most at once I've ever let myself spend.
Hmm... Either a gametime token at ~50k or Vial of the Sands for about the same amount back when it was new.To someone who has never really had more than 60k at one time, these were difficult choices to make.
Price wise, back in vanilla i paid 1k for a crimson whelp. It was a lot of money to me, but i still have it all these years later and it stands pride of place favourited in my collection. I've bought many other pets over the years for much more, but due to how scarce gold was to me back then, this stands out to me as my most expensive purchase.
Oh wow. Well, I guess there are several purchases on the AH that qualify but probably the most gold I've dropped is on the Nether X-TREME Rocket, the TCG mount! I really enjoyed the rocket model and the color, so... I thought why the heck not? The other expensive buy I've done was a Spectral Tiger for a friend's birthday gift!
I'm never good at banking gold. I'm too impatient to wait for things to sell at higher rates. The most expensive thing I've gotten was the Steel for my Sky Golem... which I did not even complete :-(
Mine has to be Sapphire Panther. I bought one from AH for 35-40k, and since I'm constantly at low gold amounts, that made me broke for a few days. Worth it as I still use it.
About 1.2 million in Battle.net balance tokens.
Biggest purchase I have made was the TCG mounts such as Magic Rooster and the Spectral Tiger.I bought them in cataclysm for 200k gold.To give you an idea, by legion standards.. this is closer to 5 million.
Probably EU WoW token for 300k lol
My most expensive buy on the AH is the last wow token I bought. Last week for 164-165k on the U.S. region.I usually stick to perusing the AH for battle pets that I am unlikely to get just farming content.
Most expensive things probably were some Wow tokens, which go for about 250k on EU. Wanted to buy the Twilight / Starseeker package and had to convert three tokens to Battle.net-Currency to do it. :)Other than that it probably were some mounts. Steelbound harness and the jewelcrafting mounts. All for about 50k each, not too terribly expensive. :)
My most expensive AH purchase was a Jeweled Onyx Panther back in WoD for 92k.Yay for free garrison gold inflation, I guess.
Like a lot of others, my most expensive purchases have been WoW Tokens. I imagine I've spent around 1 million gold on them overall (gold well spent, I think).
I picked up a transmog piece that ran 14k, most of the time I farm stuff myself.
If we're not counting game time tokens when they were at around 30k gold, then the most expensive thing I've bought is a prismatic gem cause I'm cheap.
Jade Panther on AH for 35k lol
Until the WoW token came around, it was Reins of the Traveler's Tundra Mammoth
My most expensive purchase was a simple Vial of the Sands for 50k G. I was doing everything to spare enough gold, because I saw this mount in Stormwind and I really wanted to fly around with my friend on my back. I miss those times :')
Easily Vial of the Sands although I got a bargain at 88K.
