The most expensive thing I purchased was the Jeweled Onyx Panther. I always wanted one of the panther mounts. The price was dipping on the Onyx one, so I bought it right before the price rebounded.
If Black Market AH counts then the Sun-Lute of the Phoenix King for roughly 2 million gold. Otherwise it was some heroic item for around 300k gold.
My most expensive AH purchase would have been the last non-BoP enchanting formula I needed for 100% enchanting completion: Formula: Enchant Shield - Lesser Parry (At the time it was called Enchant Shield: Lesser Block). I think I paid about 50k for it, but not before attempting to farm it for probably 3 years on and off. It never, ever popped up on the AH so I knew I had to snag it as soon as I saw it no matter the cost.In real life though, I bought the TCG card for the Spectral Tiger. Kept the 100% version and gave the 60% version to my girlfriend. Set me back about $400. I think they're worth loads more than that now, and I actually have no regrets, it's still my favorite.
Most expensive thing I've bought was a Six-Feathered Fan for a 101 twink around 80k gold which I resold for 100k, but it took me very long to sell :S
I was able to snag a Magic Rooster for 189k. glad i did as they are 7+ million on my realm now.
I hardly buy anything on the AH, but the most expensive item I have purchased in WoW would be a WoW token. It's truly an achievement for me to have bought a token, because I can hardly keep my gold balance above 10k gold.Luckily I had some good friends who leveled with me to gain some gold, I'd love to return and play with them once more. :)
I hope it counts to the giveway but my most expensive purchase was on the Black Market. I've bought Unclaimed Black Market Container for 279k gold only to find a Cat Carrier (Black Tabby) in it. Since I don't play poke...pet battles it was pretty worthless to me. When it comes to the real AH, I have bought Depleted-Kyparium Rocket so it wan't that big of a purchase.
I think my most expensive purchase was the on the Amani Dragonhawk other than that i don't think i've spent so much on a single purchase.
My most expensive AH purchase was a Geosynchronous World Spinner, 70K at the end of MoPand yeah, i pay the sub whit tokens soo, every month i buy one at the price tag (with is pretty high righ now if you ask me)
I bought a x-51 nether-rocket x-treme of the black market ah for 80k back in mop
My most exspensive AH purchase was the Sandstone Drake. I bought it during WoD for like 60k to help out a friend get flying.
Back in Warlords of Draenor, I spent a lot of time and money (real money, too) on my ex girlfriend who I was with for two years. We recently broke up, but back then it was when WoW Tokens came out. I had about 500k gold before they did, and she asked me for gold all the time for uh....ahem "$%^& mogs" as people within the game call them. In under three days at one point, I had given her 350k gold that she spent on mogs for whatever reason. Then later on, I bought about $120 worth of WoW Tokens cause I was a little lazy to make gold.
500000 of gold buying mats to goblins reputations from hated->neutral
Adjusted for inflation, the most expensive thing I ever bought was my level 60 mount back in vanilla WoW. It took months of dedicated saving and farming to build up that much gold! (I think it was around 800 gold?) I finally saved up enough two or three days after they removed the original epic ground mounts and replaced them with the ugly armored ones. Even my first level 40 mount I couldn't afford until level 46 because of how expensive mounts used to be; I crafted so many leather headbands to make the money I needed for it. That first level 40 mount is still my druid's primary ground mount today though.Ignoring inflation and WoW tokens, I don't actually buy too much... I bought a Battered Hilt in Wrath that was quite expensive, and various things for making profession mounts like the jewelcrafting panthers and tailoring carpets.
My most expensive purchase is Ice Cold Milk in christmas, I Did It All For The Cookie!
A 160k WoW Token each month :/
9 tokens for transferring 5 toons to a different server. I don't know the exact amount but was over 1M gold
I once had my account hacked in and the guy who entered in my account bought a lvl 70 crossbow that costed all of my Main's money (around 100k)So, technically, that is my most expensive purchase in the Auction House
It's not "a" purchase, but collectively purchasing the mats to roll enchanting from 1-700 all in one go was pretty pricey!
I think the most expensive for me was some crafted legendary. But tbh I don't usually buy expensive stuff on the AH because I'm broke most of the time :D.
