Hi there, thanks for all the tips. :)My most expensive purchase was the crimson deathcharger for 150k.
The most expensive AH purchase I've made would be the Vial of the Sands at ~60k long - long time ago
The most expensive thing I bought would be a BoE for my druid. I bought it 2 weeks before ToS opened, and I ended up paying around 650k. 2 weeks later I upgraded that part in my first ToS raid. The amount of anger I felt for blowing off 650k that I worked my ass off for, was tremendeous. I was soooooo pissed at my poor decision that I refused to replace that item for couple of months. Only the thought about how I pissed away 650k nearly made me quit the game for some time haha. But oh well, we all do stupid stuff with our cash sometimes dont we. xD
My most expensive purchase from AH is the battlenet token...I don't have that much money for other :(
I usually don't buy expensive things on the AH, but i've bought a couple of game tokens for around 100k each.
well can't remember what was most expensive, neither does TSM ;), but it must have been some battlepet, I think Hatespark the Tiny for 106k. He isn't in the game no more so no way to craft, earn or achiev it. Then the only thing left is buy it on AH.
Wow tokens are my highest purchases. I only buy one at a time so each month it seems to increase. Last time was 160k. Otherwise, the highest was 150k for a mount.
Probably WOW tokens. Millions spent over time.
my most expensive thing iv bought off the ah is the geosynchronous world spinner. It was well worth the cost!
As a mount collector my most expensive have to be the JC mounts and Skygolem that I picked up before starting the goblin life. Those hit the old stash pretty hard at the time but now I'm buying 1-2 tokens a week so it wouldn't be such a big deal.
I'm not a big AH spender, and the majority of gold I had prior to Warlords was from simply saving as much as possible and selling excess materials (and occasionally BOE gear) whenever I had them on hand. Now with the WoW Token I am even more savings-conscious as I haven't been dedicating too much time to making gold but still want to pay my sub with it. In relative terms, the most expensive thing I may have bought was a Twig of the World Tree back in Vanilla. I remember it was around 100g, but at the time it was an awful lot for a low 50s blue weapon. Before that I was using a weapon from the mid 30s and nothing had dropped for me since. As a Ret Pally, having a poor weapon meant it took ages to kill anything, and it had decent stats for me. My plan was for the Twig to last me until I hit 60, which it did, so I considered it a good investment. The only expensive things I've bought in recent memory were items I intended to sell after I transferred servers. All of which I sold at a good profit.
My biggest AH purchase has been a Depleted Kyparium Rocket and the Geosynchronous Worldspinner. Both were about 120k each.
For a while, I saw a sweet market develop for Vial of the Sands. I made 2x Vials and purchased 2x at around ~90k each. Then proceeded to sell them all for 110k+
Most expensive thing I've ever bought on the auction house is probably a wow token for the subscription; costing a good 250k Gold :P
I think still up to this day my most expensive purchase has been the Magic Rooster Egg. I wanted it for so long and then barely ever used it. :D
Xmog items, but i'm not sure which one exactly
I try not to remember my big purchases, mainly to save my sanity! But it was probably something recent... probably one of the crafted legendaries, for around 90k
Most expensive item I ever bought on the AH was the BoE leather epic boots from Tomb. The T20 Monk set had neither belt nor boots from predictable boss drops, so these were the only match. I did luck out though - people were originally listing the LFR versions for six figures, but I happened upon a pair of normal boots for 35k or so and jumped on it. An awful lot to pay for a transmog I suppose, but hey: time is money friend!
The most expensive AH purchase I've made would be a BoE waist from Heroic Nighthold trash Waistclasp of Unethical Power and cost ~93k
The most expensive AH item, hmm, I would have to think back all the way to Vanilla days. It would have to be the Mongoose weapon enchant at about 600ish gold.
