i think they should have balanced things around the new player. but i like that characters aren't three shotting opponents anymore. some classes have more than 3 button rotations and some classes need time for their cooldowns to refresh.
I already bought a Pandaria Four Winds tome from the BMAH for my new expansion alt, but I ain't even mad it's gonna be useless. So glad the restriction for flying is being removed. Gonna be a hard choice whether to play my main or start all the allied races whenever I log in. :)
I think fly should be automatic in wod zones...because WoD is horrible and the achievement you need to get flying for it is a waste of time and you know that blizz did that on purpose because they were mad people got upset they wanted no flying in WoD.
yup
So, wait - lvl 70 mobs will have MORE health then a lvl 110 player? At the very least, this means that a lvl 70 player will have the dps to kill a lvl 110 player. It would be cool if you could turn the tables on the gankers as a lowbie.
I am a little ticked about all the gold I spent incresing all my heirlooms , js , they where expensive
I'd like it better if it meant I could queue for anything lower on my high level character. They could scale it down like they do timewalking, and we could romp through old content with lower level guild members with the possibility of getting gear or achievements. Instead, when we see them asking to help with a dungeon in guild chat, it's like "Nope, sorry, since I outlevel you by 90 levels, it would nerf your exp too bad to be worth it."
I guess they want to increase the chances people will buy a leveling token or something?
Are these changes already available on the PTR version of WoW?
I literally just re-subbed because I enjoyed leveling by soloing dungeons. I go AFK a lot because I'm watching a 4 month old while I play and can be AFK for 20+ minutes at a time just walking over to shake the mouse. While these changes obvious need to happen, it makes me sad. Solo dungeon runs are challenging as it is, but it doesn't sound like it will be viable after this goes into effect. I'll give it a try but I'll likely unsub after these changes go in.
I like that they are changing the gameplay so it is less like grinding and more fun, but they should also inxrease the XP gain - maybe ad a new +10% heirloom - so the overall leveling to 110 is not longer.
Not a huge fan of the heirloom changes, but everything else sounds fine.
As someone who loves leveling and doing every quest, especially pre-Mists, this makes me happy with what I'm hearing. The health pools and increased experience will be nice (I typically lock XP so I don't outlevel zones before I complete them). This seems like they're taking some of the good changes that the game as seen to take out the tediousness but also keeping in some of the challenge from the original! ^_^
Don't know if its gonna be longer or quicker, easier or more difficult. BUT at least it wil be more fun and awarding. Not doing dungies over and over again.
I wonder how long it will be to beat a mob with an healer lol
@Lostartes - But flying you don't need to work hard for, as for example being able to fly around Pandaria without going to the shrine first? Doesn't that make your previous point hypocritical?
