So why do Alliance get shafted? Horde get the two reps that are easy to exalt, and most already have exalted. While alliance have to bust their asses with the brand new reps? Completely unfair.
Sorry if this has already been mentioned but:What if these requirements are solely just to get these races during Legion and will be removed once BFA drops? Like an early reward for people who want to grind it out. I personally find it really hard to believe Blizzard would lock new expansion features in an old expansion (especially such specific parts of it) after it’s actually released.
How about no connection to any exalted reps? How about a nice quest line for them all? Or maybe, to aid the alliance a bit, just get revered?
It's all speculation at this point obviously, however if it is account wide it should not matter what faction has the rep since the unlock is an account wide achievement and those achievements aren't tied to a faction however I think you hit on something with the max level character of the correct faction to do the story line quest of unlocking them (assuming that quest is actually required) not like you can go to the opposite factions emissary building and recruit races for your enemy
Can't you all see what Blizzard is doing, they are putting this on the 7/3/5 PTR as a "filler", but it wont be in the game until around the release of BFA. The way it is looking 7.3.5 is going to be a joke of a patch, once again we have to wait a good 6-9 months for the next xpac and real content. Enjoy the wait!
I really hope these requirements change. Perhaps these requirements are there to allow veteran players to unlock the race early, and give everyone access to them further into the expansion?
In either case if they're going go through with the rep system, they need to change it to cross-faction. As an Alliance player I did as much work as someone on the horde. Requiring a lvl 110 of the Allied Race's faction is just asking too much of players. Or what they also could try is make the introduction quest to the Allied Races an achievement that works for both factions. So if I unlocked the Allied Races for my current faction, I'll also unlock the races from the opposite faction. If they're forcing me to faction change or lvl a character I don't want to play, then I'm not even going to bother at all.
so if you have multiple, linked accounts - does this mean that you would only need to meet the achievement milestone and BfA purchase requirements for one account to unlock across all or would a new instance of BfA need to be purchased for each linked account?
So void elf thalassian wont be understood by blood elf thalassian? Makes sense /s
The devs said that a lot of that is going to be expedited expenetially, the rep gates will be gone from all the nightfallen quests, for example, and you'll be able to do them linearly. By the time you are done with them, you'll be exaulted, kinda like with the jinyu and hozen in pandaria quests.
If someone could clarify that, that would be amazing. I've done all the achievements on my ally character. I hope i don't need to do them on my horde too.
Well, Alliance requirements make sure that Argus won't be empty even when next expansion launches...
