Honestly, even though we all know the old gods are going to show up, I am keeping my fingers crossed that Sylvanas is just bad. She's not pure evil like Garrosh ended up being, she does have her reasons for the things she has done/is doing(the survival of her people the forsaken) but it's extremely misguided. And for the carebears QQ'n about the horde being bad...throughout the history of wow/warcraft...the horde has always been the "more evil" of the two factions. While they aren't outright bad, they are much closer to the bad guy role than the alliance has ever been as a whole. Anyone who gives half a crap about the lore or played wc 1-3 understood that before ever making the choice to roll horde. So please stop crying because your faction happens to be doing things that historically, they have leaned towards doing before. And hey, it's not bad to be bad. If you're that upset about it b/c you must play the super good guy hero type, then you are welcome to reroll alliance. But what the faction does =/= the individual in said faction. As a whole, the soldiers are ofc obeying their warchiefs orders. Players aren't soldiers. We are champions, heroes of azeroth. It's a bit different, so if you have to hold onto some of that hero complex you've got going on, you are able to do so. Yes, there are quests that will make you do not so heroic things if you're playing horde, but it's just a game. Move on and pretend you never did said things
How many times does Blizzard intend to sacrifice Horde pride by putting a leader nobody wanted and making them the villain?
Yeah, we Horde aren't being allowed even an ounce of faction pride, are we? Just us starting things, committing atrocities, and losing. Not just evil, but evil losers. The most noble orc walking away from this and we're expected to take not his side, but the evil side.I dealt with constant shaming of my faction in Mists. I'm not doing this again.I quit.
You know the sad/funny part of this whole debate? Blizzard is loving the free marketing that is coming from our angst and "discussions."It's like when WWE RAW sucks, twitter lights up with people pointing it out, and WWE gets all happy that they're trending, preserving the cycle.
You know, it occurs to me that Anduin is all statesmanship, no war savvy or killer instinct, and Sylvanas is the opposite in both criteria.Man, in some strange future, what a perfect team they'd make :)
Thinking about it, I'd actually like to see the Horde go full-on Sparta and have one leader for war matters (Warchief) and one leader for running the society, rather than both being one job.
