Have you been scrapping your items or disenchanting it? Do you find you have a surplus of Expulsom or not enough for crafting?I've been scrapping every chance I get but that's also because I haven't yet leveled up my Enchanting alt lol. I'm still working on getting my professions up so I haven't come across the recipes that need Expulsom yet. But I believe I have enough to at least start making a few crafted items when I hit that point.
The auction house has been a source of frustration for me for a while. I think it is somewhat unfair to punish people for posting single items, though it’s annoying as hell and I personally want to beat to death the people who don’t know how to list things in bigger stacks. I like the idea you had about making the thing sort by stack size. I am a consumer of crafting materials so ultimately anything that makes it easier to search without the need for an another mod.
I haven't noticed the AH being much slower, but i guess that's the silver lining for being on a low pop server. Also i am definitely getting the Waist of Time belt.
Excellent post! Thank you! I am planning on getting the battle pet Baa'l, as I do collect them. Over 800 now. I am also planning on doing "Waist of Time", but have not started yet. As far as the Auction House, on US servers I haven't had any issues.
Baa'l is an awesome pet. Thanks to everyone who discovered how to get him!
Have you been scrapping your items or disenchanting it? Do you find you have a surplus of Expulsom or not enough for crafting?I have actually been trying to sell any BOE items first to make some quick gold, im not a crafter and dont really need explosulsom. If they dont sell then id scrap them. I have been using the easy scrapper addon, my bags kept getting full from all the gear. Just got TSM4 and its easy using it, I have a potato computer so I have to do one item at a time otherwise my computer would kick the bucket for doing multiple scans. So far both are easy to use. Im going to watch and read more guides from the past economy posts to learn more about TSM4.
The excess / unusable crafting mats thing for professions is something that definitely needs to be dealt with. If Blizz is going to add craftable items that take 2-3 different crafting materials, they also need to add items that only take 1 of those crafting mats to make so that everything is usable (even if only to scrap and even if it takes an excessive amount of that one mat) I remember joking with guildies during Legion that Blizz should add a mount that took 1 million Unbroken Tooth to make just so we had something to use up the excess amount of them for. The situation has only gotten worse in BfA. I noticed it the first day with Inscription. Milling BfA herbs gives 3 times more Ultramarine Pigment than Crimson Pigment, yet all the recipes only use a 2-1 ratio (or less) so by the end of the launch day I already had an excessive amount of Ultramarine Pigment because their isn't anything to craft to use up the excess. Buff items like the Legion Drums and the talent switching Tomes and Codex's still being usable at 120 and using both less and more convenient to get mats than their BfA counterparts is also something that seems like a big overlooked mistake.
yes, being a tailor is mistake right now, luckily i could still earn some gold selling enchants. at least I can go fishing, to compensate for no herbs on my main :)
Thanks for the reminder on the Secret finding Baa'l. I forgot to note somewhere to go for it once i dinged 20...About the professions and AH:I played WoW since WotLK and just started paying any mind to trading when they released the WoW Token.I still believe that playing the AH is annoying, but at least now it allows me to pay for game time for my wife and myself. The fact that i dont care about transmog doesnt really helps on this, but i've been able to do fairly well dealing on mats and pets.Of course it may change on the future, with blizzard releasing extra expensive mounts and pets...Those Darkmoon cards are a good source of gold if you have the time/patience to get into it, but although i've already had high lvl scribes, i've never used one myself.I'd rather make some more gold than "invest" on something to increasy my DPS by 5%.That being said, im really happy that the Wow Community allows for all these mithic+, raiders and number addicted guys, crazy to buying my stuff...:)
Im going to have to echo the feelings about professions. First off i noticed a disparity in the amount of nodes that spawn between Ore and herbs. I found, throughout the 2 islands herbs spawn about 6 -7 times more then ore nodes. this already slowed down the process to max Blacksmith. But looking ahead with them only being able to make a handful of different models, even it seems not great for collecting xmogs, let alone selling. Id like to see some BS only weapons return, like we saw in Pandaria on the Isle of thunder. Weapons that evolve and are unique!
Awesome! Lots of new stuff for BfA and hardly had any time to research all of it, so this was great to catch up. Thanks a bunch, Gumdrops!I certainly hope Blizz addresses the issue of crafting professions as they're a lackluster time investment, and the fact that Expolsum is so random doesn't help at all.
I always hated to look for cheap items individually rather than in huge stacks, so the upcoming change to deposite fee is very positive new for me. I also must confess for I find the secret pet Baa'l incredibly irresistable, so I managed to obtain it just yesterday.
I hate when someone post 4 stacks of ore in 800 auctions...
its cataclysm + WoDcata:unfinisheduntestedundertuned and/or overpriced professionsWoD: nothing to keep the casual gamers entertained after ~2 months. AP grind without the constant micro progression of 'clicking a new trait' won't keep people entertained. Neither will the undertuned and 95% 'passive' and therefore boring azerite armor system.
As for the Waist of Time discussion point, I have Baa'l but I haven't embarked on the second part yet for the transmog belt. I just got Baa'l yesterday and need some recovery time, lol, but I plan on doing it this week! Just maybe not all at once this time. I don't participate in the Secret Finding Discord, but I lurk there. It never ceases to amaze me how they find these things out, but out of all the secrets so far, Baa'l was probably the most amazing hands down. I could have never found the underwater ship, or even most of the caves....the cave they found underwater in the fatigue zone is honestly the most shocking. I am still mind blown they found it but obviously glad they did, since I have my adorable little evil goat now.
I definitely spent all day yesterday attuning Uuna and getting Baa'l! I'm looking forward to...waisting my time :) As for scrapping vs enchanting, I've been scrapping, because it gives a wide variety of mats and not just enchant mats. I'm also not that big on professions early on, if at all.
To be honest, started with Discord Channel for first clue after baal, we went to the Spires of Arrak and somebody found the orb.I will miss such journeys. I love secrets in wow :)
Missed opportunity to call it Baah'l instead of Baa'l.
