We know you dont like this new system so we will want to improve it but we wont for now but we might and we dont know how to balance but we might. thats what I got from this classic blizzard
I just want to be able to get at least 355 azerite gear as drops from +10s. It is not the best gear but it is something you can grind for and get the traits that you want.
only thing id say about the azerite situation is that, its abit frustrating how we got to farm extra pieces of gear for other specs when one piece of armour may contain a decent trait that we like and want to use, but also has another on same piece... thats my only criticism.
When will the class balance notes come?
Man I would not want to be a Blizzard blue poster. Feedback is appreciated, I know my guild is prepping for next raid tier with a warrior in mind (Less to do with us hoping they are made OP and more the fact we are a small guild and our tank loves prot) - Happy with the talk of Azerite armour in general here.
I play 30 different lvl 110+ Darkspear toons (I like the specs to each be their own character, so for mages I have a fire, frost and arcane for example) and since I play everything except Demon Hunter and Paladin (unless Zandalari get demoniacs and prelates), I can say I have 100% enjoyed them all. Everything feels much more streamlined and less complicated (in a good way) to me from when I leveled them all in Legion. I do not do raids or dungeons though unless trollish things drop in them, so I cannot attest to what the "hardcore" raiders and such feel.I know casuals like myself are the majority of players, and those that do all the mythic/arenas/rated BG stuff are further on the two ends of the number line whereas my playstyle is closer to the middle. But, I am really loving the classes. If they improve them, all the better, but my Elemental Shaman can take on four or more mobs while leveling and walk away with full health. I have seen no class broken or unplayable, and without the artifact weapon stuff (something I disliked greatly and complicated all my leveling/classes), I am enjoying leveling in BfA WAY more than Legion. Everyone has their opinions, but I am loving BfA and my classes, personally.
Here's an idea for Azerite gear in end-of-dungeon chests.Using Uldir as an example:Mythic +4-9 can contain 355 Azerite Armor (Normal Uldir equivalent) Mythic +10 or higher can contain 370 Azerite Armor (Heroic Uldir equivalent) While Mythic quality Azerite Armor can ONLY be obtained from the weekly M+ cache, or raiding. (following their philosophy via their post)Also, to avoid doing high keys and looting Azerite Armor from the end chest (which is lower item level using this model) Azerite Armor can just be a BONUS for the chest. Like, normal loot + 1 random person gets an Azerite piece. So you're not effectively lowering the item level average from end of dungeon chests, but increasing it as 1 Azerite Armor piece can drop. Effectively turning M+ into another way to bolster character progression to enter raids (and try harder difficulties)
Typical. Beta for azeroth. They didn't know what to do with prot warriors in the actual beta either. They constantly changed their toolkit and ended up basically giving up and changing nothing. Par for the course lately. Unfinished xpac pushed on us.
always the same with new patches and expansions.be it now azerite, or arifact weapon. Why they don't just give a bigger talent tree with more options, and just normal weapons and normal gear?Don't recalling Classic-Woltk, but I think to just have more things to choose would be better than this talent-based-on-some-gear-piece stuff.
Then in this case, you should also be looking into the fact many MM hunters are forced to go Beast master, Marksmen virtually does not excel at what it is meant to, and ontop of that has an AoE cap in the already not the best Singletarget setup. I understand MM was supposed to be the long ranged single target sniper hunter, but its dps out put does not reflect this at all. Considering the Utility bm gives over Marksmen, any and all dps increase to the single target that MM has is virtually redundant. Make MM competitive again, seriously. it shouldn't be a hard fix for the moment and we seriously need it.
Talk about jumping in the deep end with no ability to keep afloat with azerite traits. Half of them should be pruned and keep only utility-based ones and then balance the classes imo. This is like the Legiondary issue all over again...
Frankly, if they just scrapped Azerite Armor altogether I would barely notice in my rotation and would be much happier when gearing. Azerite is just a nightmare to get right. They wanted to eliminate simming and the need to go to outside sources to figure out what is best and they created a system that makes simming more important than ever in the history in WoW... I mean... how do you do that? How do you screw your own stated goal so much that it is worse than ever.
