Where is my option as a Horde to kill the traitor Saurfang?
So that's a whole lot of nothing. If they stretch this any further they may not be able resolve their two paragraph short story by the end of the expansion
Sylvanas removed all non-Forsaken guards, with an abomination guarding the entrance,A hell no. Give me order and i gona chop Linch king slave head. Enough is enough. This is are no more horde i chooce play for. Wtf blizz thinking with this ^&*!. Why Alliance always keeping king as human and horde have second warchief not orc. First we lost Garrosh, then Thrall left and now they better dont dare kill Saurfang. MAKE HORDE GREAT AGAIN!
puke
Well.. It's good to be ally.. *grabs popcorn*
So I will be forced to commit high treason against my queen and mother figure?gg-Undead Hunter since Cata-Undead player since WC3
Let's see they now have a split in the Horde and by the Tyrande questline, a split in Alliance factions, almost like they are about to pull some races out of the alliance and horde into a third faction, or disband factions altogether for a more light, evil and neutral stance, they could even have one of each sister lead the factions at this stage. Alleria's whispers in the Three sisters comics state that Sylvanas is the enemy to it not the light which is interesting and Blizzard has almost written all light dominated characters as more neutral lately, Andiun is not pushing for peace so much now, Tyrande is vengeance incarnate and Velen says I will no longer blindly follow the light. The other big light follower was Yrel and if you do the MO recruitment on the Horde side you know she is now a villain and has used the light to kill any Orc that does not submit to the light.Horde players that are split on thier feelings over Sly and wanting the old Horde may get a choice that makes both happy.
What if...Zekhan -the new poster child of horde resistance- is an agent for N'zoth? And Shaw also might be under the influence of N'zoth. At the first quest line starts with a clear intention of rescuing Saurfang but after a few alarming and clearly noticeable events, such as lock and the key, SI:7 intervention etc., dark ranger goes back to Slyvanas explains what happens and Slyvanas clearly thinks this is SI:7 operation to bring her down as a second Garosh. Sends dark ranger as an assassin to bring down SI:7 operation before even resistance starts.N'zoth can start the gears with Shaw and also with Zekhan hero of the horde -player- will also be convinced to support resistance with this. Doesn't matter how strong which side, they can't bring down any old god alone. Since neither of them really dead and mastermind N'zoth still unharmed in any way, all that requires are torn the horde-alliance force that sargeras bring together which is already done, and secondly turn one of the sides from inside too, which is in motion.
Saurfang will eventually be warchief...Or someone like him...Incidentally was re-watching the BFA cinematic, and I noticed something weird, which is that you could argue Sylvannas doesn't actually kill any alliance during that cinematic. First shes firing arrows off into the distance, who knows if they hit anyone. Then, she jumps across, throws a dagger in some guys thigh while bashing the other guys shield with her bow. Then, there's a shot of her staring down a dwarf and maybe a gnome, but then ther'es a cut and we don't actually know if the explosion hits those two or was targeted at something else that exploded, the point is, it's not in frame. Finally she uses her banshee form, the thing everyone got all the creeped out by because it's "killer evil Sylvannas" when banshee Sylvannas was actually incredibly non-violent in many ways, the primary function being mind-control. So she probably just mind controlled those last soldiers. Then she screams for the horde to get the horde into battle, while she hangs back and by the time of the Anduin thing she's not even at the vanguard, just making sneery faces. Meanwhile the void is dangled in front of Alleria for two seconds and shes like zomg more plz. The writers of WoW were at cross purposes with the actual content of the characters, it was always being pre-written ignoring the fact that Sylvannas is, and always has been, the heroic true blue alliance high elf. Did she die? Not really, Arthas ravaged her and gave her the weird skin color for the game I suppose, but she never really actually died. And she'll continue to basically destroy the Horde from within, as she's been doing for decades now until the WoW story writers are all fired or someone can just accept the basic premise of a powerful alliance character with an arc of survival, not redemption, survival. Sylvannas is honestly the female version of Harry Potter really, the woman who lived.Basically WoW has been destroyed by writers who fetishize and ignore character content and meaningful evidence of this or that, simple as that, both Alliance and Horde and even people who practically don't even play the game at this point despise the WoW story team.
Even more to the point, they were never required nor desired. Blizzard had basically a slapped together effective "story" in the WC2 days and all around that time that did a better job than those blokes who came in around 2003/2004 ever did.Sylvannas is the leader of the Alliance high elves. Saurfang is warchief of the Horde. Alliance is there, Horde is there, just like it always was, this isn't a revolution, it's not crazy, it's how the game was in the beginning.
God damn they are butchering Saurfang, I hope we get to kill him and get ourselves and him out of this misery
