I remember when Alliance got that cool toy
troggs, why'd it have to be troggs?
MoP 2: Electric boogaloo
Forcing horde characters to betray Sylvanas and join Saurfang is incredibly ridiculous.I'm imagining a Forsaken Warlock getting to that part and it's just so laughable.e; they could have just given you a choice to fight alongside the dark rangers and then have Saurfang do the classic npc "ENOUGH", stunning you and escaping.
I'm sticking to my theory that Shaw is manipulating evidence that he *knew* the Forsaken would find to get the Horde to turn on each other. The evidence trail was pretty transparent.
So it's confirmed that Sylvannas lied to the players and was just using them for her own needs of disposing Saurfang for good. Guess it makes more sense as to why players defy Sylvannas' orders after being betrayed with hidden intentions themselves.
So we get no choice but to side with Saurfang? We can’t talk to the Dark Ranger and help her like we could choose to kill Sira or not?
so horde players discover that the si:7 are behind his escape, but they still side with saurfang and his rebellion despite that knowledge. that makes sense
SoO 2.0 here we come!......
just checked the comments on the toy...had to downvote them all jesus not a single comment about the item itself and all about the lore of the game..pick the right place god...
I don't want to be on Saurfang's side. In my eyes he is a deserter and hypocrite. He constantly talks about honor when he left his own people instead of standing up and strugling against the so hated warchief. It's the most dishonorable act.
Blizzard needs to start addressing the fact that the Horde player base is extremely polarized, and that forcing players to take actions in-game that they would never go along with is just poor game design. They could allow players to take either side of this narrative if they would simply be willing to put in more effort. In this particular instance they could let the player choose to refuse to betray their faction leader, and join the Dark Rangers against Saurfang if they wanted to, and be defeated of course, but at least they have a way to actually go along with the narrative without completely ruining their role-playing experience.I'm an Alliance player by the way, and even I can see how absurd it is to ask players to betray their faction leader, even if they are doing some very questionable things. Blizzard needs to be challenged to take this game in some new directions. Taking away choice is the only thing that Blizzard seems to do anymore.
Ugh - I like Sylvanas. I seriously don’t want ANOTHER change in Warchief. Not sure why Blizzard goes after strong female characters - last was Jaina. Seems like Tyrande is also losing it :(.
