8.0 Horde War CampaignBaine: Sylvanas!
Baine: What reason could you possibly have for this madness?!
Sylvanas: Derek Proudmoore was a hero to the Kul Tirans.
Sylvanas: And once his mind has been properly conditioned, we will allow the Proudmoores to recover their long-lost prince...
Baine: This is too far!
Sylvanas: They are sure to stage a rescue attempt when they learn of his fate.
Sylvanas: ... so he can slaughter them in their sleep.
Baine: How many times must we forsake our honor?
Sylvanas: There can be only victory or death for us, Baine.
Sylvanas: And death is mine to master.Derek: Please... help me. I... I don't know what's happened. What's been done to me.
Derek: I remember the battle. Orcish dragon riders. Our decks consumed by flame. I felt a blaze of agony, and then... darkness.
Derek: I was... dead, wasn't I? For how long? I am not quite alive, and yet... I don't understand this. Please... PLEASE... how is this possible?
Derek: Where is my father? My mother? Jaina... Tandred... please... I'm so alone. Don't leave me alone...

Baine: This is wrong. There is no honor in it.

I hate how the story has to be centered around this self serving shallow definition of honor. The Horde and its mantra at times is pretty Hypocritical. "Victory of Death". "Blood and Thunder". And its not something that is only heard by the Horde of the OLD:.. But the horde right now. Its hypocritical of someone like Saurfang to criticise someone like Sylvanas.. When she does things the way she should. As a leader. As a general. The way she can cause the most damage to the enemy. Whille the normal horde tactics is basicly just to RUSH and hope they can kill the enemy. You saw this with the horde during every assault on something they have done. In Siege of Orgrimar. They rushed and got who knows how many killed from the Mechanical Scorpion boss. During the Broken Shore assault. THey basicly just went in there with all their forces, and expected to push into the enemy and defeat them. Never once considering, maybe, some fortifications would be needed. Maybe some sort of siege engines were needed. Artillary, Anything. Nope. Ground trools against a demon army that keeps coming from land and air. The current Leaders of the Horde are incompetent when it comes to war. Sylvanas. Seems to be the only one capable to be a leader. As she has had YEAR. Who knows how many years to fight against the amani trolls. You look at the High elves. They werent the kind of people that pumped out children like crazy. Something you CAN technicly say about the orcs. And their enemy were the amani trolls. Who much like orcs... have kids at an alarming rate. So every member was valuable and not something you could just sacrifice. You needed to be smart. Tactical. Be able to anticipate everything. She is able to do that. Thrall was no leader. Garrosh neither, since he was just pushed to the position as Warchief by Thrall. Voljin was no leader either, as he was unable to do anything against Zalazane and the Echo isles untill like.... Cataclysm. Took him some time to get the courage to do an assualt and retake his lands. Baine. He isnt much of a leader as he is pushed into that role when Garrosh killed his father during that "honorable" duell. What else do we have? The Blood elf leader, well, he has SIlvermoon to take care of and the remnants of the scourge over there just south of the capital. Goblins. Yeah, well they do their own things. They basicly reshaped that part they are located at right now. But they arent any leader types, not for war. Building machines of war, yes, But not using them properly. So right now you have THIS as well as a problem. You have the OLD horde, green orcs... And the Uncorrupted Maghar orcs.... Two diferent types no matter how you look at it. The Maghar are more savage and wild, ready to fight and die in war. No matter what the reason is. Whille the old horde, green orcs... Like Saurfang are now starting to question their mantra of "Honor". So ask yourself. Will the Maghar listen and believe Saurfang... Who now goes behind the back of Sylvanas. Who does things that acording to him are dishonorable. Never forget. He threw his axe at Malfurion to stop him from "ending" Sylvanas. That was both his DUTY... But also a very dishonorable thing acording to him. So ask yourself... Does Saufang give a SHIIIT about Honor? He is a warrior.. Not a leader. He is the one you send to fight and you TELL him what to do. Not someone you send with a group of 100 soldiers against 1000 and expect a victory with the least casulties on his side. No. All of those 100 will probably die and only he will survive, whille the 1000 enemies are dead.Comment by eFischI didnt join Horde or stay Horde to uphold "honor". I am here to take a dump on Alliance and the little whiners that are behind the keyboard. I dont want Sylvanas to be evil, however. But I am okay with most of what she is doing.
