If you guys look at the crafting costs of some of these items, you'll see they mostly cost a decent chunk of ordinary profession materials as well as Tidal/Hydrocores and a tonne of Expulsom—these things don't seem to be cheap to craft. Hopefully that'll change, and it should because some of them have placeholder mats like 1 Kyanite, but right now, a lot of these are actually not that great or a waste of money as it appears right now.So yeah, when you save like 50g a day with the BS one (it certainly doesn't do more, you have to do a full repair just as often), along with the indestructible stat being utterly garbage as that too only saves you like 50g a day and only when you're using crappy crafted armour, or you just didn't get that 'lucky' proc on your high ilvl BoP pieces, then yeah, it's pretty understandable that you might think this item is utterly garbage if it costs something like 30 Expulsom and a bunch of ore.Hopefully the Alch one is something cool, but as it is, only the JC and Ench one even look profitable and while the others have some somewhat cool effects, I don't think many people are gonna want to drop like 25 Expulsom on them really.
That Tailoring questline looks more interesting than anything we have in the game so far. Maybe that Delithra should meet Chromie. I bet they would get along.
I am very interested to see how these change professions. Not just the actual changes above, but the marketplace and how much more lucrative certain professions will become.
You've gotta be kidding me. Tailoring item will increase cloth drops? I've already got over 1,000 of every cloth without that item. What am I meant to do with even more? Grind them into Expulsom?
A small improvement but doesn't address the core issues with profs.
These look like fun! Very well done!
No way am I spending a veiled crystal for just a guardian. At least I don't have to carry a stupid copper rod around anymore.
Lol @ all the people QQ over something that is only being partly explained so far as to what these will eventually do for each prof.
Aye. And even so, want to bet the guardian does not work in say raids, instanced pvp, and mythic plus?
Silas' Sphere of Transmutation?More like Silas' Philosopher Stone.
Ehh some of these are pretty cool. It's nice to be able to just keep the kraken's eye I've got in my weapon but most of these profession perks just seem very lackluster or things that'll only hurt them like flooding the market with even more resources. lol.
The tailoring quest sounds amazing.
Awesome that it requires a hojillion tidalcores. Great for crafters who play solo a lot. /s
I think they should work on the broken Professions and not on some Items that have no real value for this Game. Don't get me wrong i 'm into Funstuff, but first you have to get your basics done, then you can do the Funstuff!
Gear-making Profs still gonna be useless to anyone who does at least LFR. So...stick with ALC and HRB (for ALC mats).PS: These items may look like 'fun items', but they're not. Solely because they require way too much to make. - Tell me, is a vacation really as much fun when, in order to pay for it, you had to work double-shifts for months on end? HELL NO.Blizzard does not know how to 'make fun', but the do know how to boost MAUs!
