How Large is N'Zoth? Old Gods Size Comparison and Old Nazjatar Map

This is the core of the Black Empire, the seat of N'Zoth's power, within the body of a god.Where is the Prison of N'Zoth?ChronicleFirst, we know that N'Zoth is an incredibly large being - the Crucible of Storms was originally described as a "fragment of N'Zoth" in a Mamytwink interview from BlizzCon 2018. N'Zoth appears to be present underneath Stormsong Valley (near the originally speculated prison location from Chronicle) in Patch 8.1.5, but also imprisoned in Nazjatar in Patch 8.2 - a fair distance away. Perhaps a part of N'Zoth is imprisoned somewhere, but his full body is so much larger that it spreads beyond that location, like a vine that's grown beyond the supports that hold it.

Second, N'Zoth is also associated with corruption, ranging from the Emerald Nightmare to Neltharion the Earth-Warder, better known as Deathwing. Il'gynoth's whispers parallel several events in Patch 8.2, one of which referring to N'Zoth gaining strength: "From the earth, he draws strength. Our earth. Our strength." Instead of assuming that N'Zoth's prison was always underneath the Well of Eternity, perhaps N'Zoth was simply present, a small fragment that grew to reach the Well of Eternity and observe Azshara. We've seen Yogg-Saron extend his reach to corrupt the World Tree Vordrassil, so we shouldn't assume that N'Zoth's reach is also limited to his prison. how

Every other old god we have defeated has never been full body.

C'thun was (iirc) only a part of the original body.
Yogg was still in his prison with lot of his body likely under the ground...and Saronite was his solidfied blood (irrc) and that stuff was FAR from his prison.

N'zoth is the 1st "released" Old god we have encountered.He isnt fresh out of prison and weak. He has building his pwoer for a long time.

also back in Black Kingdom era 7 of them covered ton of the landmass when it was in its pangea type form.

If Blizz did that, how would they implement him as an entire raid in an acceptable and logical manner that further justifies his size? Have 8 N'Zoth sub-encounters until we whittle him away and burrow deep enough/carve enough fleshy bits and carapace away to expose his core/heart?

At least 6 out of 8 of those encounters would likely play out like the Deathwing encounter. An entire raid fleshy mounds and tentacle encounters.

Would each fleshy mound and tentacle exude different powers and abilities, basically making him look like a gigantic pincushion of random forces? Does he have organs? Maybe we can battle his 4 Spleens of Death.

East Spleen splooges fiery spleen-stuff everywhere and North Spleen is like, "Nah. If East Spleen gets fire, I want want to poop frosty bits. West Spleen can be all about DAT BLOOD! He's already bloody enough... South Spleen? You can be the lookout. And being the North Spleen and all, the Prime Spleen, I claim possession of this random elf I found wandering around by Seventh Rectum who's apparently selling some pretty snazzy looking gear for stacks of fingernails. You know, just in case you other Spleens get donated, or worse, destroyed! Wouldn't want any other wandering adventurers to get their hands on this stuff. Wait a tick... Do we even HAVE fingernails? DO WE HAVE FINGERS! My life is a lie!"

Would he let his minions crawl all over him (like crabs) to help bolster his defences too, just so the walk between fleshy bits, tentacles and possible organs isn't horrendously boring?

In all seriousness, though, I can't imagine a fight with N'Zoth at his full size being very engaging or at the least, logical and technical enough to please many in this community.

Would it be cool to see? Sure.

Would it make sense? Probably not.

Are we sure that's his actual model or am I confused and that's the carapace encounter? It's incredibly small tbh. N'zoth was said to dwarf the other old Gods but he's barely larger than C'thun's eyeball. When I think Old God's and actual side I still lean more towards some zone size creature. We've fought an eyeball, what I can only assume was Yogg's mouth, There's just no way this can be N'zoth's actual true form and size. Even art of the character shows him as way TF larger than even the entire city of Nyalotha.Comment by Xuan90As far as I know .... N'zoth manage to grow after the thundering of the War of the ancients damaged his Prison. Also he claimed Y'shara's Mantis, C'thun's Aquir and the Nerubians and Faceless of Yogg ..... he is by far the biggest Old God we could encounter.

Fact: He is free and claimed the powers of his brothers. I would not surpriesed if he manage to control the remeins of them as well.

To be honest, he isn't really any bigger than the other models, he just has a taller height and a smaller circumference, which gives the illusion of being bigger. Regardless, it is a cool model and gets me amp'd.

On a lore perspective, the content is called "VISIONS of N'zoth", which semi implies that this isn't really his "full" form but what N'zoth has projected to us in Ny'alotha. If you look back at a few of the instances, Azshara in her Warbringers was a spec in comparison to his fully body. The one snap of the major Eyeball filled the scene with twenty naga floating for dramatic effect.
