In the patch notes for the first patch of Classic WoW that will roll out this week, Blizzard announced that the support to Paid Character Transfers has been added to the game client.
This patch includes client support for the Paid Character Transfer service, which may be enabled at a future date.
Back in Vanilla, Paid Character Transfers were added in Patch 1.11, together with Naxxramas and many other quality-of-life improvements, some which are already present in Classic. With the change, Classic will likely support the same style of transfers available on retail WoW, where the full transfer process is done in the game client, without needing to head to the game site like it was back in the day.
Note that Blizzard has explicitly said that this addition does not confirm that Paid Character Transfers will be the same as they are on retail, if they ever come to Classic, just that the option exists.

Keep content rolling after Naxx, with additional raids and additional content
I'm getting a little triggered by this "additional raids and content" talk. We all know what happened after vanilla. If you want new content and raids, go retail?
I want to play the original pure world of warcraft, not some new screwed up version of it. I'm okay with small quality of life changes but nothing that will change end game meta.
This is my opinion:
Yes list
Payed transfer
Name change
New battlegrounds
Rating & arena (No rewards other than perhaps titles)
New quests
No list
Race change
Sex change (sorry rainbow people)
Facial / hair change
New races
New classes
New tiers
Grey area
New 5-10 man instanes, but
only
unfinished areas that's available like Grim Batol, Caverns of Time, Karazhan, Hyjal etcetera.
Absolutely not until
after
Naxxramas and no new items that's
better
than Patch 1.12 best in slot.
You can play Classic as much as you want, but i doubt your patience or reasoning will hold in say, 3 years.
If i was to ask you, "Hey, how's classic treating you?" - You'd be the exception to say - "Great, i am still grinding my BiS items".
Personally, i already have 2 60's, several mid tier level alts - I played this back in the day, i still play today - But i doubt there will be
ANY "Health" to speak of when you've had 3 years of UBRS.
Most content droughts that are Retail are like 1 year max, try 3 years of Vanilla drought - that'll translate to
18 hours of AV/day - I don't like the idea of that, at all.
Well content drought won't necessarily make people quit. Compare with any other old game like WC3, CS 1.6, Doom, Runescape or Supermario Smash Bros 64. They all hold up to this day without any new content or changes. When you have maxed out one character in WoW you can always focus on another class and it will take you plenty of years before you are maxed out on every class. And as I said before, if you get bored you can always go back to retail...
