I had little problem as a warlock getting an M+ group each week. I'm a little worried about timing those +15's though, I'd love to get that mount.
Imprison is equally as good as Sap is.
Just changing the title from "What you should play" do "How will you classl do" would help the attitude and "you need to play this" mentality of the community so much
The problem with these kind of posts (and video's on youtube) are that they only count for +17 or higher. Atleast high keys. 90% of the playerbase that reads this article does a +10 and be done with it. Now they read this and be like.. Oh I can only bring a Outlaw Rogue, DH and Fire mage. F*ck the rest... That's how you ruin a game for players.
Same as always. Putting Elemental below fire mage and balance druid like the dumbasses all these "pro" players are. Every time.
Honestly I understand why Wowhead publishes articles like this but I can't see how these articles helps the community. This just encourages people abandoning specs and classes. Instead of these are classes you should play for M+ it should instead be 'These classes are broken and need to be fixed nerfed/buffed, blizzard do your damn job'. Also outlaw rogue has been OP for dungeons since day one of BFA has there been anyone in development assigned to balancing or are all the devs currently playing outlaw rogues this expac?
I main a lock. Always have. At least I will not have to worry about getting in to pugs this patch.
Everything listed for Outlaw rogue is also available as in the Assassination toolkit with the exception of Gouge. What kind of drivel is this?
I'm assuming the 'fury' under Frost DK is a typo.
Had a pow-wow with my guild and we did 2 toon changes! Good article, inspired thought.GdruidHpal -> switched to MW monkbm hunter -> switched to DHshadow priestaff lockThose switches feel like good moves to have a better overall comp.
In 8.2 I've been playing Assassination Rogue with a catch-all build that has 1 of each Double Dose, Shrouded Suffocation, Nothing Personal, Echoing Blades, and Twist the Knife. It works pretty well combined with Focusing Iris as my major essence and I've been doing +10s and +11s in time all patch. It also has the added advantage of being great in PvP whenever I want to dip into it because the spec actually has Wound Poison. If you actually wanted to do +15s I'd highly recommend Outlaw of course but M+ and raid bosses that require cleave are basically all the spec is really good at. Hopefully that changes somewhat in Shadowlands and the spec is no longer a one trick pony.
Rogues / DH just keep partying on
For all the people posting angry comments thinking Dratnos just invented this stuff in order to personally attack their favored classes, there are websites you can refer to that track the success rate of keys and then cross-reference the compositions and specs used. This is not his "opinion" when he says x class is S tier and x class is F tier. It's based on actual data pulled from player logs and the Blizzard API.For instance, https://bestkeystone.com/#/specs pulls the data from the Blizzard API to see the success rate of keys (10+ by default). The results on this page will vary per week based on the affixes, but if you look at the lists from the other weeks as well, you'll see for yourself which specs consistently have the highest record of success per week and which have the lowest. You can then look at those specs and the incoming buffs/ nerfs to them in 8.3, and extrapolate from there which ones will still perform as they still have done. If you're angry about your particular spec being historically low in successfully completing a key, don't post silly comments here attacking the author as if he designed the classes himself. Tell Blizzard.* * *Personal thoughts: Blizzard is always going to prioritize balancing around raids over dungeons, which is why there is such imbalance in keys for different specs/ classes. It is what it is. If you want to play what you like while pushing keys, run with your friends or do lower keys when pugging. If you want to pug into 20+ keys, it's going to take more effort to do so as a non-meta class than as a meta one. People are usually looking for something specific when they pug someone in, and meta is meta for a reason. For example, even if you are the best enhancement shaman in the world, you still can't shroud the group or blade dance every Deadeye or invalidate bursting with Darkness. All you can do is try to be what people are looking for if you want to get into more high keys.
Fourth season and almost the same meta like all seasons before. Good balancing Blizzard. You have made M+ a serious content, so please take care for it's proper balancing, too.
