Agree on the spoilers complaint. While I would have probably read it anyway, it's not cool for those who try not to be spoiled on wowhead.Concerning Nathanos... well, as much as I would like to wipe the smug expression from his face, I'd rather he escapes from that encounter. Why? Because I'd love it even more to see Sylvanas kill him / sacrifice him / let him die helplessly and watch / betray him and see that smug face of his disappear in an expression of pure shock right before dying his final death. That's what I really want to see.
Another Horde character getting turned into a boss. Steve Danuser is a cancer to this game.
BFA made this fantastic character a bi dimensional hero. AN empty figure for a bad story. Such waste.
Finally! We'll be ready to kick his sorry butt!
His mangled, broken corpse will be an example to all who dare to touch my Knaifu!
I cannot wait to kill him. Repeatedly, of course.
Every. Week. Just give me and all my Horde alts the chance to bash his blighted face in EVERY WEEK. I never liked him, and after all he's done, I'm ready to b e done with him.
My money's on the encounter being designed to provoke the players as a predecessor to some instance event by being frustrating and anticlimactic.Maybe Blizz will invent some NElf npc's to name, kill, and then resurrect as Forsaken. Either way this will be an event of pointlessness and sneering self-gratification worthy of any from the War of Thorns as Blizz triples-down on one of the biggest npc mistakes they've made since Rhonin.
If he dies he's going to the Maw which doesn't mean much since Sylvanas is in league with the Jailer and can probably just pull him out anyway. No matter the outcome of this fight it won't be the last we'll see of him. I'm interested in what he actually got up to after being sent off by Sylvanas though since he was her main playing card in the physical world. We'll have to wait to find out in the upcoming novel but it's likely he did his job and is now just looking for a fast-track to the Shadowlands while also slowing Azeroth's heroes down at the same time.
i hope he will drop himself as a mount, like /u/Wicir suggested here on reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/wow/comments/fn9lp0
him becoming a world boss would be most unfulfilling end to his character you could possibly think of. what because they didn't actually think of a story before all this they had no idea what to do with him after slyvanas defects so eh just throw him as world boss why not lawl.
