One more wish: IF Codex of Xoroth is unlocked, all fire effects should turn to green regardless of specialization. What do I mean? IS DEMONBOLT A JOKE TO YOU, BLIZZ? There is FIRE in that spell's visual and that fire is STILL orange and not green and it is really annoying. Let's get our priorities straight, please. Spare the extra five minutes on changing these little details which help you achieve perfection. TYVM.
I really miss Metamorphosis Demo Lock, it was one of my favorite specs. The spell visual was a big part of the flavor of the class, and when they removed it to turn Demo into a cheap BM Hunter, Warlock died to me. Sad to see they will still push this playstyle in Shadowlands, so I guess it's another xpac I won't touch my Lock toons.
sure bring the 30 sec 3 min and talent that either reduce proc 15 sec of it so you can spam it easily that exist in cata or make it 2 min like wrath version talent system and ofc add the old huge phyiscal armor and 20% damage , because MOP/WOD 5 sec duration is a joke when you cast most of your stuff and instantly drain all your fury energy , like yeah sure you do pretty good damage ( not better than destro chaos bolt spam ) but then your combat felt stuck to X rotation when you use meta and for very short time and moment you go out combat energy drain pretty quick , meanwhile in wrath/cata version is much better because 30 sec and you can play however you want
Nether Portal needs to be a lot cooler than summoning different demons that do essentially the same damage and generate zero excitement. While everyone is getting tired of rng, the theme of the talent should be ALL about potentially getting some super op demon to bring the deeps, for single target OR aoe. Also I think the talent should come down in cooldown and probably replace Tyrant. Although this is problematic being on the same row as Demonic Consumption, they'd both be so similar in terms of gameplay but one would have to be better than the other. Honestly if they could make Nether Portal more interesting, stronger and if they could actually tune individual spawns, and not have it require being able to cast for 15 seconds consecutively for max value, I think it would be way more fun to have as the main cooldown than Tyrant.
Totally disagree with your wishlist. The way is balance all demon single-target dps and remove all felguard bindings to talents and other traits, so you can change demon to dispel, taunt, interrupt or slowing on raid or mythic+ bosses like any other warlocks. ///Or maybe axe toss must slow target and dispel one magic effect on enemy or ally and interrupt (and taunt)
Just give us a normal interrupt 100% agree, it really should be the beast master that should be the one to switch around pets as "master of beasts" and not demo consider they already have instant cast calling. The demo should just summon demons as they are needed and not care to much about them afterward..Simple interrupt Felpup /Felshadow/somethingInterupts the targetLaunches a felpup/Shadow of a Fel/something in that interrupts the spell cast.Basically, you summon just a very minor version of the felhunter that don't require a summon circle and you "launch" it on the enemy and disappears right away. It is instant cast and it hits right away. That's it. All they need to give. The "switcharo" with demons really is going to hurt with 6 sec summon the time and since they are not going to bother with doing it any favours.---Demonic Calling should just be the baseline, the rotation feels clunky without it and nothing will compete with it in PvE. PvP is power siphon anyway.By making it baselines, you would actually get a choice on the tier and without it (and lot of late patches haste) the whole rotation feels slow and "fragile" to movement. I honestly think call dreadstalker should just get a removed cast time to consider it only gives damage and it would elevate the in-mobility problem a lot, the slow rotation opening a little consider demonology might have the slowest rotation starter in the game now (with the changes to shadow priest).---Doom should just be either be removed or reimagined to have something to do with demons, it honestly makes more sense now that it would be an affliction spell now that they removed the summon a demon part.We all take doom just for the damage + tagging mobs. That's it. Not satisfying at all.It should at least have something that interact with demons instead of " 1 soul shard".
Summon Steward - underwhelming? Who writes these guides? Someone without any knowledge about WoW? How can you even compare it to heathstone? It dispells practically any negative effect - something that our imps can't do and usually healers can't do either. Really nice thing to deal with debuffs that your m+ comp can't dispell. Plus Kyrian ability is purely ST, almost no AoE use since in m+ everything should be dying either at the same time or super fast, trash packs are too spread apart to properly use bonus 5 soul shards.
