awesome work.Something to aspire towards.
Great! Keep playing Sir!
I am 68 and have over 15 alts at level 120, 24 at 110 or above, both Horde and Alliance.I have a few alts in Classic but have only one at lvl 60. My two sons are not WoW players so all on my own. I retired early, at the same time WoW was released. Coincidence? Heh. I can play WoW decently well but battlegrounds and heavy raiding are not for me (same with FPS- I just make everyone's scores look better.) I can easily keep up with everyone in dungeons on most of my alts. Except for my twitch skills and my wrist and shoulders needing braces, I play as well as did when I was younger. There are plenty of over 60 folks here in WoW, much more than most players realize.
Back during WotLK Naxx raiding, our raid group including my mom (warlock) and me (paly tank) did the The Dedicated Few and The Undying in one run. Which was suspenseful but so gratifying in the once Kel fell.
This guy is in my guild <Bigglesworth Imports LLC> on Deviate Delight. He's a rockstar.
I'm on my way there. I'll be 65 this month and been playing WOW (not Classic) since 2006, though stopped for 7-8 years after Cataclysm.Have had around 12 alts, mostly casters. Used to raid a lot. Had a kickass mage who was an even better DPSer than other mages with higher ilvl.Recently started again, though raiding doesn't get my attention like before. Too much drama... Rather decided to have fun soloing with a druid all the way to ilvl 460.I agree about the benefits of playing. Keeps me mentally active. In that sense, my main complaint after all these years, is Blizzard's decision to force professions to raid/dungeon for items needed in order to advance a given profession. I think this is a big drawback in gameplay. Not everybody wants the pain-in-the-neck drills of group hunt. Especially the large groups, which I ended up avoiding. And if your profession is related to gearing up, you'll end up picking better gear in dungeons/raids. So some professions meet a dead end. Hoping this issue gets overturned in a better way.Good riddance!
Congrats to him. I'm am 66 and a Gramma and have been playing WoW since it's release. My brother is 71 and a cousin is 74 and they play FPS games.
Also reporting in from <Bigglesworth Imports LLC> with a minor correction to the article - we're Horde, it's the High Warlord grind, not the GM grind ;)
Got one more rank to go. You've had 73 years, what's another 120 days?
