Comment by UrushnorGroup phasing in the maw is either a bug that they are covering up or an asinine design decision. Phasing and shading is part of the infrastructure of how the game works to make it at least some what playable. The fact they are using it in the maw quite honestly sucks, either allow groups or not, but not this half way bull$%^&.

Still doesn't excuse why the quest line is bugged out though :(Comment by Certifiedtbh, pretty much everything about the maw sucks. the quests are boring, low mobility classes take forever to get from a to b, hunts are bugged, torghast is just a boring time waste to grind out your soul ash, and everything is time gated too.

Now, as before in Battle for Azeroth, joining a group should bring you to the party leader’s perspective. Players who are in and out of War Mode will remain separate, as always.

An exception that remains is the max-level version of the Maw. Players in the max-level Maw may not immediately be able to see one another when joining a party. As for myself, I was able to do my first hunt just fine. A few people showed up, we killed it, cool. Second hunt... I legit stood where the marker was for about an hour, trying to figure out why it wasn't spawning. It was the one with the 'winged alpha', so I kept looking up, messing with the chains and... Nothing. I had already given up on Maw phasing in LFG so I just never finished my second hunt

I find the Maw alright, though I main a hunter, so mobility isn't the greatest. Running around is pretty boring and awfully scary trying to outrun elites I accidentally pulled, hoping feign death and turtle aspect come back up lol ;;
Torghast I actually find pretty fun, though hunter anima abilities are boring. Miles above my frothing hatred and dread for BFA's visions and islands lmao

I understand Blizz broke phasing in the Maw as a 'feature' to make it harder but honestly... It just makes it more frustrating, rather than difficult. Standing at a rare faaaaar away from any teleports, with nobody to group up with nearby and not allowed to make a LFG listing... Just makes me skip the content. As much as I'd love to kill the rare, or tackle a group quest, most people would rather not try than reorient their phasing and run all the way back, hoping to get there again in time
I'm fine with Blizz maybe trying a 'harder' way to group but... This isn't it. Perhaps summon stones around the zone that could phase people? Perhaps an item or upgrade? Went to Oribos. Turned warmed OFF.
