Because I play a pure class (two actually, mage and hunter) I'm looking at this mostly for PvP vs PvE.However; on my hunter I'd really like to be able to switch to the current highest DPS build (SV right now) and Beast Mastery for pet survivability while questing. Unfortuantely, it looks like that's not going to happen, with the whole max level only bit. :( that's truly saddening. I'd much prefer it if Duel-Specs were unlocked for characters over level 20 AFTER you've gotten a character to level 60 or so. Any realm. Kinda like Death Knights. It would still reward you for leveling to that high level, but you could use it on any character then. I think that would be quite a bit more fair and would really help people who are always looking for tanks and heals for instances. Hey! Maybe I'll dust off my druid who's been sitting resto at level 30!Honestly, I'm most excited about the free pet respecs and stables changes. YES! I can switch to gorilladin while farming then switch back to kitty when I'm going to go quest! Amazing!/e always has trouble finding the stables in out of the way towns :P
Very nice change, but if you would have made it sooner i wouldn´t have had to use thousands of gold on respeccs -.-
Great. Fantastic. Now every Retadin, feral druid, and enhance shammy will be like "Healer LFG" cause every know healers are always in demand. The whole point of specializations is the they make you different from other players. The dedication required to put together a good set of gear for your chosen task was what made it worthwhile in the end. And now, with no true "main specs" you get to face more competition for every single roll on new gear. This just makes hybrid classes MORE preferable, which they didnt really need, given their overwhelming popularity. Seriously, what good is this for a mage? I can kill you with fire! or I can kill you with ice! and how about a rogue? I can stab something to death! or I can....stab something to death?Yeah, questing or farming on my resto druid or prot warrior was annoying, but healing or tanking was a blast; now I get to compete with every moronic noob who went on one PuG Naxx raid and thinks to himself "I can do that!"
WOOOT I WONT HAVE TO RESPEC EVERY FREAKIN DAY! and yea the wowhead talent calc will still be used for speculation and links :)
