I've been playing since the release in europe and the game never has grown stale on me. =)No real breaks for me, at some time I play more, sometimes less. When I'm at a loss at what to do on my main, I usually get a lot of fun out of leveling / playing another class. The game is deep enough to keep yourself occupied. ;-P

Since I'm a casual player of wow there is always something i want to complete, even though I've never raided (a fact that I will change) full instances due to lack of gear. Right now I'm trying to decide if I should save money for the epic flying skill or to build the mechano-hog.
I had 2 big quits once from the april after TBC till the summer a year later, and now one from Brewfest till now. Yes, I'm encountering more time I want to play WoW than that I actually play WoW. I tried private servers, but after 2 days I found out they suck. You can do so much in WoW that I'm almost never bored. Sometimes, when I need to wait for whatever the .... I get bored. But that's the only moment.
taking a couple months off as we speak actually :-)be back after summer!
There's only two times I've had an actual "Vacation" from WoW.The first time was when I was enrolled into the army for 1 year. There was no internet there, so gaming was reduced to approx 14 days over 1 year period. Then, one summer later, I took a 3 month vacation (along with a sailing-trip along the northern coast of Europe (france, germany, etc)). Now however, with Ulduar here, I cannot see myself taking a break. It's just too much fun.Just a flesh wound
I took a break in January, as the game was getting too bored. I came back a week before 3.1 (didn't know about it), so it was a major surprise, and still enjoying it :)
just love visiting Wowhead
I played back in Vanilla (just about 4 months after release), but then took a couple of years off for school. Boy, that really changed the game... all my RL friends, gone. Guild, gone. So I left all of those toons on my old server and started on a new "recommended" server. Now that I'm up to 80 on one toon and have lots of alts between 30 and 60, I'm actually starting to grow bored. Don't know if I'll quit or just switch servers to be with RL friends (and not to be playing Horde against vodka all the time).
I only take "breaks" when my card runs out, my internet dies, or something goes wrong on my computer. However, I'm taking a break from raiding until June 18th, the last day of finals for me.And, to the people complaining about ads on the official forums: There's worse things there than Blizzard renting space to other companies (forum trolls, for example). If you don't like it, don't go there. Rely on the second-hand sources, such as WoWInsider, MMO-Champ, Wowhead, etc. - they're usually easier to understand. Plus, the ads are not as annoying.
