Demetria herself is a shadow-priest type mob, with around 30,000 hit points.

She is escorted by 8-10 adds, each of which can heal and be resurrected by Demetria -- if in range.

The key to this encounter is to have a Mage bodypull the adds, and another member of the group use an instant spell on Demetria to separate her from the adds (which should be attacking the Mage). The adds have around 1200-1500 HP, so the Mage can easily kill them solo. However, the adds must ONLY be killed when they are out of range from resurrection by Demetria.

Once the adds are dead, return to the group who should already be grinding Demetria's HP down.

Dementria, The Scarlet Oracle, is one of the final quests that horde players can receive from Nathanos Blightcaller. It takes place after the quests you may have such as the Scarlet Oracle. When you start the quest, Dementria pops inside Tyr's Hand and begins patrolling toward Stratholme, surrounded by 9-10 58-60 non elite scarlet guards. She's a very powerful shadow priest and uses all the classic shadow powers; Mind Control, Mind Flay, and phsycic scream of course. She's also a very skilled healer, and if you kill her guards she rezzes them simultaneously, so you need a tank to keep them all busy while the rest of the party keeps the tank healed and deals with her. A full party can take her down, but I suggest everyone do it at level 60 if you don't want a very difficult fight.

to kill the oracle

first u have to seperate oracle from the guards

then u take the mobs somewhere far away and kill them :)-- watchout for hoyl hammer--- might need 2 mages

then u come bac and kill oracle 5v1

if u kill guards near oracle she will aoe res them all

I tried it 2 man first but it seems rather impossible since Dementia ends up mind controlling the healer which pretty much ruins the strategy. With 2 priests and a mage it is very doable. After you seperate her from the mobs you just need to focus dps on her and keep healed. Expect someone to get mind controlled and be ready to take care of it.

Okay when i get the quest i look around all on the road and she isnt there? Could the Courier keep killing her when they pass?

She can be kited pretty easily, and although she dispels magic she can't remove curses or poison - 2manned her with a warlock and hunter, health pot and healthstone were needed for the swp but otherwise CoA and serpent sting took her down :)

Just soloed her as a 60 Warlock with good gear(although wasn't needed).

Just run away with full dots and her bodyguards de-aggro. eventually she dies.
Way easier than finding a group.

Don't listen to any other advice on this fight. Everyone else is wrong.

The ONLY way to do this fight is to have someone (read: Druid) tag the boss with moonfire, change into travel form, and kite the boss, until she is far FAR away from her adds. Once she is more than 50 yards from her adds, jump in and kill them all. The reason you cant just kill them, is that she has an infinite res ability that costs no mana. You can't leave the adds up cause they heal her for 100000000 hp. Once the adds are dead, mount up, catch up with your druid, and start dpsing the boss. You will want a priest healer so they can dispell shadow word pain and mind control. You cant stop the mindflay, you just have to heal/shield through it. If you do EXACTLY this, its pretty easy.

Soloed her as a lv70 boomkin. Try killing the mobs 1 by 1 while kiting Demetria away, as the mobs will be ressed in a few seconds, but they won't follow you if you are far enough from them. After you only have Demetria and maybe a few mobs left, you can easily kill her :)
