These are easy to get to and farm if you have killed Moam or Buru. As a druid, i usually use feral faerie fire to pull them, and it doesn't agro the elite mobs around them.

These mobs drop Larval Acid, as well as scarabs. The larval acid is real handy for the NR gear you'll need for naxx and aq40

These bugs respawn with the rest of the instance. However, if your guild kills Kur, Rajaxx and Buru, you can make it to these bugs solo and kill em all, then repeat a few hours later.

Only a Flesh Hunter or two will respawn, as well as a few packs of bugs between Buru and Ayamiss. They're far enough spread out though that anyone can just ride right to the Safe Room and kill a couple dozen bugs. Stealthers can get past the last pack and clear lots of bugs in Ayamiss's room too.

In 3 respawn clears I got 18 Scarabs, 3 Idols, 22 Larval Acids and some random greens. Not too bad at all.

After dropping baru its possible to make it to the safe room by going over the top of the bones and into there for more kills. Has anybody been able to get past the mobs to the right of the safe room. Myself and another hunter managed to get to a safe point between the 2 groups of mobs there, but wondering if its possible to get past or what techniques others have used..

Yes many a pet has been sacraficed in the name of exploring

These bugs seems to respawn approxmiately 1 hour after u kill them each time also giving lots of farming runs

It is possible to kill the dudes in the flying boss (forgot his name, it is Anymis or something like that). You can get to his room even if Moam/Buru isn't killed.

Here is how(Best to be a Hunter or you can be a rogue...if you get to it as a rogue you are lucky as hell becuase you only got one FD ability): First ask your guild to kill the Qiraji Gaurdians that are standing outside of the gate to Moam (boss), then after they are gone you may begin, get on your mount, there should be 3 patrols, a Flesh Hunter and two Obsidian dudes (forgot his name), you can run past them if you are sneaky, you want to run to the water in the middle without going in the water, then run along the left side of the Resivoire, there will be a pak of those dudes (not sure what they are called) but they are like 12 of them, you WILL agro them, I have managed to get by them without agroing them but that was pure luck, then run to the first bridge and get off your mount, FD there(Vanish for rouges), there will be a patrol on the bridge, wait till he is at the other end, get up and mount up, then run to that side of the bridge, turn left and keep following the water on the side making sure to be as close to it, you follow it and you will get to a point where there is a Flesh Hunter as a patrol, you can just FD if he is there, if you happened to skip him as you crossed the bridge then you don't need to worry about it, im not sure if there is another Flesh Hunter around but I usually just get to the stairs safe with no mobs following me, at the stairs there will be the Gaurdians, you don't wanna agro them, you can run by them without agroing them by getting to the stairs across from you, carful and keep an eye open cause you may have to wait because one of them is standing at the door, once you get to the stairs at the other end you may begin.

Here is how to pull them : You will want to use your pet to pull them (for rogues you need to pull them), stand in the middle of the stairs from top-bottom, side-to-side doesn't matter, use eyes of the beast and pull them dodging the pats, if you aggro just right-hit the icon of eyes of the beast and it should take you out if it AND your pet will dissapear NOT dying, they wil agro onto you but you can just FD to avoid dying, using your pet to pull you wanna hit the guy and right click on the icon of eyes of the beast, they will NOT agro the pats as you pull them, there are some behind the boss which are POSSIBLE to get as a hunter, you may run there with your pet (boss will agro) but since he flys into the air he will not attack your character/sacrifice him (you are out of his range) he will kill your pet if you don't do it quick enough, you wanna agro one of the Feeders and right click eyes of the beast, then when he runs to you (the boss stays in the air) you wanna kill it as fast as possible, the reason is because the boss spawns adds within 2 minutes of when you agro the boss (i think, not sure how long it is but it doesn't give you too much time, i was able to pull 2 at a time and kill them both before the adds got to me, i am also in 5/8 T2 and have my rhok so i am well geared), after you kill them FD.

There is a safe area where you can go after you cleared the room to kill 5ish more, when you are facing the area of where the boss is from the stairs, you run out of from the stairs, turn left, and run into the corner, you can run through the rock type thing, there you will be safe, carful there are 2 patrols that go near the corner, when they are gone you may run out and go into the room that leads to Buru, there will be more Feeders that you can pull and run back to the safe area where you may melee him down, this only works if you pay attention to the 2 pats so you dno't agro when you run back, you can stand in the gate alone the left wall in the middle as a safe area too BUT pay good attention to what is going on around you.

Here is how to kill the guys from Buru's room :
When you are facing the gate to go into Anymis's room you may pull the guys out in the area to fight them (any where is fine if the guild cleared Buru and the Flesh Hunter pat), after the guys within range are dead you may continu, jump onto the rock thingys to the left of you (you can run past the monsters if you sick to the left wall), after you are on the rocks you can pull and melee them down, after they are done you may continu, you can get to the "safe room" without agroing the mobs, when you are on the rocks there should be monsters to the left and to the right of you if you are facing the safe room, you can run straight down the middle of them and not agro the monsters, if you do agro them you can always FD, there you can kill all of the Feeders and they are Neutral to you, if you pull one all of them don't agro on you at once so you may single target them.

This was the most annoying thing to type out and I don't know why I typed this out to help...but there is my explanation.

I also figured out how to do this myself, non helped me and my guild got mad at me for farming these and not giving them to the guild bank...I find that kinda rediculise though because I farmed these myself and they respawn for when the guild does kill them...Within 2 days i got 20 larval Acids, 30 Scarabs, and 8 Idols, I also found Phantom Cape (or what ever it is can't remember, 45 blue, 15 agility, and i think 6 spirit). I am trying to sell the scarabs/idols/larval acids ATM but I am getting about 15g for each larval acid so far and I am putting up a stack of 5 for the scarabs (for the turn in amount) for 12.5g, and the Idols(in stacks of 2 for turn in amout) for 25g, I figure each epic is worth 50g so I divided the amount of money. The scarabs/idols havn't sold yet but i have only had them on the AH for 1 day non-advertising...but really who checks the AH for that crap, so i'd recommend advertising it for yourself.

Killed some of them after our raid alone (stealthed to the SafeZone after Buru) and got 4x Larval Acid 6 Scarabs :)

i have been farming these for some time now and over the last 2-3 weeks dont get any drops or only 1-2 be for i got 5-6 some scarabs and idols but think its come to an end now :<
any 1 no y plz say
and what was drop rate b4 any 1 no

Nerfed or not these are great farm mobs. Over the course of a few hours I got 12 Acids, a stack of scarabs, a few idols and a handful of greens. If you've cleared Kuri and Rajaxx and are stealthy you can get into the area quite easily from either side. The feeders don't seem to repop until you've left the instances for a time (or i got bored waiting and went to do something else). With prices on my server the 4 runs i did would be worth about 300g all in all, most of the stuff i got went to the guild bank tho.

Just watch out for the Flesh Eaters, I got too close a few times andpayed in repair bill.

Dropped The Lost Kris of Zedd for me, went to farm em after my grp killed Buru, got a few scarabs, some idols, loads of larval acid and the blue

I was reading these posts as I was farming these slugs- and next one i looted gave me an Antenna of Invigoration.
Hot item- a wand that does physical dmg. I still can't believe this =D
