Finding this to be tough to solo; lv 43 Night Elf Hunter with lv 43 pet. You have to get the War Horn Mouthpiece from a drop off one of the Mauridine Windchasers. Once you reach the top of the trail, at the top is the War Horn. The place where you place the mouthpiece is the very tip, where you would blow a horn. There are three waves, the first two were mobs of 3 lv 40 Mauridine centaurs. The 4th included the boss, Khan Hratha. He's a lv 42 Elite, and I died several times and was unsuccesful in my attempt to kill him. I have included a couple screenies. Good luck! I am going to re-attempt with help. Note: if you die (repeatedly like I did ...) the boss disappears and you will need to acquire the War Horn Mouthpiece again from another mage.

I'm not sure if I should call this soloable, considering I came back here massively overleveled at level 47 as a rogue, just to do this quest for fun after being unable to find a group, but there is a trick to it that could probably help a struggling group or duo.

Once you've attached the mouth piece to the horn, three waves of Centaurs will spawn with a fairly big pause between them. The first is two Marauders, the Second is two Marauders and an Advisor (a healer) and the last is two Marauders, an Advisor and Hratha. Deal with the first two waves however which way you can, but once Hratha has spawned, what you're going to do is to try and separate him from his group. Simply pull him with a ranged attack after he's walked all the way up to the horn, while avoiding attacking his group in any way, then run like hell while periodically hitting him again. If you do it right, Hratha's aggro will refresh every time you hit him and he'll keep chasing you, while his group will eventually reset after you run out of their range (provided you never hit them after they pull). This way you're able to fight Hratha by himself without having to worry too much about his group. And you don't need too much room to do this, I was able to kite Hratha only halfway down the ramp until his group reset without him.

Once you get Hratha isolated it's much easier than dealing with the whole group. Hratha is definitely on the stronger side of elites however, his only apparent ability is a Battleshout but he has a lot of health and hits fairly hard. You'll want to have potions, bandages, grenades and cooldowns ready to beat him.

This is soloable as a priest 42+. Kill the first 2 waves near the horn, and then jump down to avoid the last pack. Let them walk to the horn, then Mind Control the boss and kill the caster minion. Once Mind Control ends the boss should be somewhere at 30-40%, just nuke him down - Psychic Scream is your friend.
