I will tell you what I know, and I got this information from someone else and so far has seem to hold true. Lil Timmy is a super rare spawn. When he spawns, he walks in the canal district around the cathedral district starting from the south, through the cathedral area, and around to the north entrance. Then he despawns. He only sells one white kitten each spawn. It is best to look for him after a server reset.

i stood on the bridge from the dwarven dist to the cathedral .. took about 2 mins and sure enough i was lucky to see him ... 12:50 pm EST..

My suggestions to anyone who wants a kitten or wants to sell it is to get fishing get a pole sit on that bridge start fishing and be willing to wait...

At around 12 midnight EST I saw him on the east side of the trade district, heading across the bridge, I snatched up a kitten and then fallowed, he looped up around the rest of the bridges and then took the route the others explain.

i was running around stormwind for about 30 minutes and i actually watched him spawn. where i saw him spawn is where everyone says he despawns, on the west side of the cathedral district. he then walks around, goes south to the canals by the trade district, walks across the bridge to the old town, walks around old town and crosses bridge to the dwarf district side, then walks across the bridge to the cath district. he walks through the cath district but not right in front of the cathedral, kind of towards where the canals are, after he walks through he goes out and despawns

This is Lil Timmy's path. He spawns on west side of the Cathedral area, which is also where he despawns after he did his round.

I was sitting on the bridge between Cathedral and Trade districts. After approx. 2 hours of looking south, towards Trade District, as was said in other posts, Lil Timmy walks up on me from behind, and past me from Cathedral side, over bridge to the Trade District side. I followed him for his entire trip, then marked it on the map to make it clear for everyone where exactly he spawns, despawns and his route.

And yes, I did it rather hastily in Paint, so excuse the non-l33t drawing. And for those that don't see/understand the thin black arrows... Lil Timmy walks Counter-Clockwise around the canal (like the arrows display)

Hope this helps you all. Sorry that I can not give you an accurate re-spawn time, but I was too sick and tired of Stormwind after 2 hours of staring at nothing, that I left immediately after I followed him to the end of his journey. Personally I waited 2 hours before I saw him. But I did go afk two times for about a minute each time. With bad luck, he might have snuck past me right that minute, who knows ^.^(##RESPBREAK##)908##DELIM##Uchur##DELIM##

I'm suck inside since there was a ton of snow, and apparently I also have a ton of patience.

Timmy seems to respawn 2 hours from the time he despawns. But it takes him about 15 minutes to walk his route through storm wind so every 2 hours it will be 21 minutes later. See below.

3:21 despawn
5:21 respawn
5:42 despawn
7:42 respawn

I would sit around some more to keep tracking this, but I'm all out of patience.

I found him right were he spawns, he spawns by the bridge between the trade and old districts, then gos around old town, across the bridge between old town and the dwarven district, around dwarven district, acroos the bridge between dwarven and cathedral, across the cathedral quare, out of the western side, and despawns at the dead end to the right, against the wall.

It is a v cute cat, HAPPY HUNTING!

I got the White Kitten after following kinirosenshi's map (shown above) backwards on only the second try, with about 15 minutes between attempts.

I didn't see where Lil Timmy spawned, but I ran into him as I was rounding the west corner of Old Town on the canal. It was at 7:01am PST on Blackhand (9:01am server time, CST). He must have just crossed the bridge between the Trade District and Old Town. Luckily he still had the kitten.

From reading all the posts so far, it looks like he spawns in at least two places, the end of the canal between Old Town and the Trade District (or on the bridge itself), and at the end of the canal on the west side of Cathedral Square. He definitely despawns at that spot on the canal at Cathedral Square as I followed him there, and everyone else seems to confirm that.

I've read about 10 times now 'how do you get this thing to sell for more then 15s' the answer is the auction house. Just buy him and hit the AH, the best way, IMHO, is he neutral auction houses (BB and gadgetzan), them being the only way for the horde to get this.

This is not the timmy who "Lil Timmy's Peashooter" Gun comes from. The gun is from Timmy the cruel in Stratholme, as he was once the little timmy from Warcraft: Frosen Throne and Reign of Chaos ( if i remember correctly). Who had loads of action such as being kidnaped then angain kidnaped by Kel'Thuzad and then being dead and reborn as an undead then turning into Timmy the Cruel.

However There are speculations that This timmy is the son of the Crazy cat laidy from Elwy Forest.

This is an ongoing joke jsut like The Secret Cow Level in Diablo II (2) series and the 3x whyrt's legs ( 1 in each series, 1 in Diablo 2 , 1 In World of warcraft and if i remember 1 in warcraft : the Frozen Throne)

I've been spending extra time in SW trying to find Lil' Timmy so my priestess could replace her chicken with a more desirable kitten. I read Zldyknight's post as to where he spawns... waited 30 secs and got my kitten. Happened right on the hour. Will try every hour to check respawn rate.

I saw Timmy once wen he first spawned and I had waited to see him for weeks! I finally got mine. I folloed him till he faded away. Then under 20 min later (not 2 hours) I went back and ran into him again. I got 2 in half an hour!

You can buy Timmy's cat for 60s and sell it for 5g, if you just keep buying his cats, you will be rich in no time!

besides the great retail value of the cat because of its rarity... what else is so great about it... i read somewhere in a gaming mag that the kitten will eventually turn into another sort of Uber pet once it reaches a certain lvl.. whether thats true or not is another story.. so far it just seems like it has great resale value >_>

some ppl are rude i went to the bridge betwween old and dwarven and asked if that was the best spot and they tried to tell me to go to IF right after they walked away he spawned within a min and i yelled it as loud as i could

Can Horde buy this item? I can never get into Stormwind cause I always come out of Contested territory and get ganked by the gaurds. It's impossible to get out of pvp. Even if I wait for 10 minutes. Omg. x___x

just saw him in front of the finest thread at 18:57 est. he is moving counterclockwise then crosses the bridge between cathedral square and the trade district. the next bridge he crosses is between the trade district and old town. then he crosses the bridge between old town and the dwarven district. then he crosses the bridge between the dwarven district and cathedral square. he makes a right into cathedral square and walks around on the south side of the square. he makes a left out of cathedral square then fades at the wall at 19:05 est near where he spawned. about 8 min round trip.(##RESPBREAK##)908##DELIM##Uchur##DELIM##

I have also found that Timmy spawned at least once near the east Trade District tunnel, just before the bridge to Old Town. I may be mistaken, but this may be where he starts every time. But the route depicted in the map is correct.

I used track humanoids and sat on the bridge between Cathedral and Trade. He walked right past me in a matter of minutes. Spotted him right around 3:30 EST, and the path depicted on the map is fairly accurate. Now I'm just waiting to see how long until he respawns. ;)

I'm assuming the poster ment selling it on the AH. People will go a little nuts with "rare" pets (catagorizing White Kitten as rare is a little much, but Lil' Timmy isn't always there, so, those that want to get this Kitten on a whim have a better chance of going to the AH). I've seen the Dragonlings go for 100g, so 5g for a "rare" is quite a deal.

Lil Timmy spawns and despawns at the same location. It’s the NW corner near Cathedral Square out by the canal. If you look at Allakhazam’s map of Lil Timmy’s path it’s the upper left. I sat and waited for him until he appeared, bought the kitten, and then followed the path he walks. Allakhazam’s mapped route is dead on correct. He only goes through the Cathedral Square courtyard on the return to his spawn point and travels in a counterclockwise manner. In following the kid and his kitten and it took about 15 minutes to complete the route…that with two people stopping him to attempt a purchase (too late of course).

After confirming his spawn/despawn location I waited to check his spawn duration. When I saw him appear it was 10 minutes past the hour. That with the approximate despawn 15 minutes later, so he disappeared about 25 minutes past the hour. In the meantime I fished and listened to Justin, Brandon and Roman prattle on. 60 minutes since despawn and nothing…The NPC boys who were fishing had long since walked away. So at this point I go back to cleaning the computer room. I make sure to check the screen at least every 15 minutes…scrolling up I see no dialog from Lil Timmy thus proving I didn’t miss him. Eventually the boys return to the dock and go back to their fishing. Two hours pass from witnessing him spawn. Another 25 minutes later here comes Lil Timmy again. So were talking about 145 minutes between spawns. This leads me to believe there may be a bit of randomness to the spawn time.

After I got bored with my main (Alliance) character (raiding Onyxia even got boring) I created a Horde character. You can’t purchase something in the Gadgetzan between Alliance and Horde on the same account. So I give my Cat Carrier (White Kitten) to an Alliance buddy and he places it in Gadgetzan AH for my undead mage with a 1 silver buyout, 2 hour duration. My Horde character right next to him at the time he places the auction to prevent it from being lost to someone else. So, I list these in the Orgrimmar AH. At first I posted three for a minimum bid of 15 gold with a 25 gold buyout. All three were gone within the hour. Lesson learned…no longer list with buyouts. The most I have sold one for is 115 gold. By level 40 my Horde mage had his skeletal horse mount, and Alchemy & First aid to 300 from buying supplies in AH almost all from selling the kittens. The reason I mention all this is to illustrate to you that I’ve bought A LOT kittens and I’m hoping this gives you good information and avoids speculation so you can get your cuddly kitten too.

Sweet! I looked on Allakhazam for where to find the White Kitten because I saw one in the Firetree AH. As soon as I saw this, I ran to the spot where he spawns in the Cathedral Square Canals. I waited for like 5 minuted and got bored so I set off to the fishing trainer in the Trade District Canals. Luckily, I took a wrong turn somewhere and ran straight into him :D. I sold his kitten for 20 Gold. :)

Respawn Time: Most people here say every 2hours, but is not 100% sure. It is randomly or change from server to server.

Route time: 5-15 minutes. People can delay him, but it seems not affect his respawn time. So could be eventually 2 Timmy’s at a time. (In that case you can use the )

Cat value: Timmy sells it for 60 silver. Can be re-sold in the AH up 5 gold. As Horde can’t get this pet can be placed in Gadgetzan’s AH for 25 gold or more.

Brilliant. I got to Stormwynd, went to the bridge between the trade district and the cathedral... put on track beasts and within 5 minutes I see a red dot on my mini-map... white kitten. On my way to Booty Bay now, 15 gold sounds nice.

omg I just decided to start lookin for him. I turned on beast tracking and started to settle down to fish on the bridge from the cathedral to trade district, when there i saw a dot, checked it and it was the kitten! i dashed to him and bought the cat and screamed a yahoo! time to put it in the AH if anyone here wants it im on the Anetheron server. (do make reasonable offers im and newbie and REALLY need cash.

The best place to wait for timmy is the bridge between Cathedral sq. and trade district.
He spawns right in front of the man standing outside in the ally.

To what I noticed he SEEMS to spawn near the half-hour mark. My BF got one at 8:00pm then at 8:30pm he spawned again but I missed it. Then I got mine at 9:30pm. If you fish your best bet is to fish on the bridge and wait until you see him. You'll notice him because his white kitten that follows him is marked in YELLOW. So when you see it grab it. :)

In front of the Cathedral is where I spotted him, heading toward to west side. I think I barely made it before he despawned. I had just finished reading Axidos' post, noticed the time was 3:15, so I flew immediately to SW, ran to the canal and noticed "white kitten" on my beast tracking... how lucky is THAT? On the first try too!

I'm going to keep mine though, too cute!

Anyone know the spawn or respawn time for this NPC? I have been logging in at all times of the day and night on a toon in Stormwind running around his route for an hour at a time, every time i log in but i have never found him!

And its getting very annoying trying to find an NPC that is never around!

Timmy's home is at the SW Corner of Cathedral Square, at the end of the canal walk. I believe he starts here and ends here. He takes a counterclockwise walk around the portrayed path above. It takes him about 45 minutes to complete the circuit, walking in a slow pace to spend as much time with his precious kitten as he possibly can. So give him atleast 2 hrs to respawn

I was in Stormwind a couple days ago, saw him and just decided not to even bother, he most likely already sold it.
So I sit on a bench by the Cath and see him pass by about 4 times, so I finally check and he had one, I got it and sold it at the Goblin AH for 5 gold.

Okay, after camping this little street rat for an hour two nights ago, and then for almost FOUR yesterday, I can safely say that his timer is RANDOM. I kept getting server timeouts because I left BitComet and Sharezaa running (n00b...), but I sat there at his spawn point and waited, reading a book, and sipping tea to get rid of a headache. I was just getting up to leave and go questing when he finally spawned around 6:10pm, at which time I pounced and bought his kitty. I clicked again to check, and it looks like he has only one kitty per spawn, which I'm sure peeved the Night Elf Mage who had been fishing nearby, waiting for the same thing. However, I'm sorry, but I can't entirely feel too bad because I'd been waiting a total of five hours and didn't have anything nice like fishing to keep me busy. =^.?.^=

Just sold one on gorefiend for 25g! but another in AH was like 50g but watvr but like 4days ago they were like 5g so YAAA now i can train! yes! oh ya timmy, i found him spawn right here PoxRox said, but i think i saw him spawn by that tunnel from trade and old town bridge but idk maybe he just snuck up on me as i fished.

I just spent over two full hours on the bridge that connects the Cathedral District to the Trade District. I have clearly read the path wrong or Little Timmy does not spawn on the Vek'Nilash server.

Eh. Well I guess not. Except for Neutral AH. So I made an alliance character and waited for him to spawn. I finally got one! I'm so proud of myself considering I'm really impatient. I recorded his walking time and what time he spawned.

Spawn: 9:15AM exactly. Walk time from start to finish: I recorded 8 minutes but some night elf kept stopping him and trying to get me to give her the cat once I told her I had already bought it so I'm guessing a little less.

As of Classic 2020 I've found that this is Lil Timmy's route , along with his spawnpoint (green dot) and despawn (red dot).
