It's also a "bugged" talent. Effects such as Death Wish/Enrage/bersking from BG...Any sort of % effect gains double of an effect on Sweeping Strikes.

As the +*% modifies your base damage, it translates a second time on the Sweeping Strikes hit. For example, if you hit for 1000 and have Death Wish going, your Sweeping Strike hit from your 1000 will hit the second target for 1200.

Another note, Sweeping Strikes generally cannot crit. It appears to be based upon your spell crit, which you most likely won't have as a Warrior, unless you're buffed from Rallying Cry of the Dragonslayer, or the like.

Edit: For anybody wondering, the % bonus stacking with Sweeping Strikes was fixed in a patch around 2.1. How I miss the days of popping Death Wish and Sweeping Strikes after I Enrage and watch the second target die before the first. :[

This talent is usable in all stances, it is useful to some extent in pvp and pve. Several bosses have a fear, you can couple this in defensive stance to break that fear and still generate hate, perhaps even more effectively due to the damage increase. PVP is the primary stage for this ability however, as it allows you to break fear and increases the damage of your bloodthirst.

I used this on a battleground against all the stupid locks and it owns. Basically, its PvP, not PvE. I killed 3 ally locks with this in STV, all convienietly with Voids. You use indtimidating shout on one lock. Kill him off. If you're fast, get another lock in this time. The shout will be gone by now and the last lock will be running or trying to finish you off. Hamstring + Rend + Heroic Strike -> Execute. 3 locks with minimal damage.

This talent is huge for PVP and PVE. The fear immunity is great, but for huge fun, on a boss (LBRS/UBRS type), hit this, recklessness and wait for a huge execute. The 20% damage increase on this is gigantic, no matter where you are.

One note, let your healers know you're going to use this. You will pull aggro, and 20% armor reduction at high levels is brutal, you will get your ass beat.

This really makes some insane dmg with both DW and 2h weapons. And it`s the third warrior move for fear immunity (berserker rage and reklessness) Even the debuff is pretty well thought: In pvp this is the most important for CASTERS who have many ways to keep you away of them so dmg must be done quicly. In this case there is no debuff at all coz it doesn't increse dmg taken by 20% only lowers armor by that. So against casters you take the same amount of dmg because armor doesn`t effect on spell dmg! :D

Negatitive resists does not increase the dmg you take from spells but just increases the chance you are hit.

So basically its completely overpowered against priests/warlocks because of the fear immunity and the massive boost in power.

i activated this telent death wish on my lvl 51 troll warrior...i was fighting a lvl ? preist..human allaince..i was unbuffed i critted her for 1088 with heroic strike..we killed each other at da same time ^^ get the polearm for the AV quest reward at 51...use death wish and crit something around ur lvl...u watch how much u hit for 700 + if not ur chracter is weak :D

I click on it fighting mobs with almost full rage and nothing happens. Cant make a hot key for the talent too. Did a help request and havent got a reply back on the subject.
