Rank 1 of Mind Vision is a handy little spell for seeing things that are far away. You can jump fromt target to target, however, each target must be in your line of site, and within 100 yards of your location.

If there was ever a major upgrade to a spell from a new rank, Mind Vision Rank 2 was it. Firstly, this does not require line of site. If you can target it, you can mind vision it (for the most part) as long as you are in the same instance. (Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms are really big instances) Also, the range has been increased to 50,000 yards. You can hop from target to target, without the limitation of line of site, only range. One thing to keep in mind; when you mind vision, your 'area of interest', or the area in which you see mobs, and can target units, moves with the person/animal/thing you are mind visioning, thus allowing you to hop from mob to mob to go incredible distances away from yourself. To give you an idea of just how far 50,000 yards is, I mind visioned someone in feathermoon who then got on a hippogryph. They were just leaving the zone on the northeast side when the mind vision finally broke. (You can re-apply mind vision to your target as many times as you like as long as you have the mana, and are still within the 50,000 yard rank. Keep in mind however that if you let it break and they are far away, they will no longer be in your area of interest and you won't be able to MV them again.)

This is a brilliant skill for Warsong Gultch! Can't find the flag carrier? Just go to the list of people in WSG during that game, click on one, and then use Mind Vision Rank 2, and you can see exactly where they are.

I've found that mind vision's primary use is finding enemy flag carriers in warsong gulch, though it's also a fun spell to fool around with on raids or while guarding a boring node in AB.

I use it mainly during PVP when someone has run away and I still have them targeted. Easily find someone you thought you had lost. Used it plenty of time to find the flag carrier in WSG as well.

this spell is one of the most usefull spells ingame especially when you get rank 2 witch will remove the line of sight problem

and i must say as priest. it is perfect for SCREENSHOTS FOR WOWHEAD!!

also how do you think they got picks from all bosses in new instances without the old ones killed first :) mindvision :P

I've used it before on mobs to see around corners and to see if/when patrols are coming.

Why is the range so large on this skill? is there a way to use it when someone isn't in view?

I've found a great use case for this when doing world pvp quests in bfa (kill 25/10 in x/y zone).

If you're casting your net to de-mount someone who is flying and they start flying away, it can be useful to cast mind vision on them just before they go out of visible range. If your cast went off you can watch them die/ see where they glide to and if it didn't go off you can see where they go to.

If you have friends/party members with you, you can just ping the middle of your minimap when mind visioning to show your friends where to go.

Really fun using this ability and makes me feel like my priest is bringing decent utility to my friends and I :)
