Havent done any digging since Cata when there was the trinket to be had. Materials from gathering proffs or maybe arch points you can trade for fun toys would get me to dig a little but not much. Weekly WQ with a nice reward or achievement after so many of said WQ with a nice reward would get me to dig more frequently.
Hello there. I really liked the article that was reposted about /u/lipsi because over the last few months i have started to do alot of gold farming. I feel that the article gave me a few more on what areas i could focus on to improve my gold making for the future because i want to eventually get the spider mount and the bronosours mount.
I have all 12 class characters in Legion. It's around 30-50k gold from Order Halls every day. And it was around 50k in Draenor from Garrisons. So, I've bought all "shop" battle pets, almost all TCG from Black Market, full T3 set for my Rogue, additional accounts for all "Friend Invite" rewards. And it's just 10-15 mins twice/day to log on all 12 chars. I hope it will be the same in BfA.I have all 104 Archeology achievements already. So I'm waiting for new ones.p.s. Thnx for info about Pet Charms. Just bought 312 Ultimate Battle-Training Stone. Just in case. :)
"How much time do you dedicate to gold-making? Would you prefer to spend more or less time making gold? What are your other main activities in game?"I just got back from a 2-year hiatus from WoW. Been focusing on leveling and regaining knowledge so I've been dedicating no real time to gold-making. The most I do is keeping gear that might be worth more disenchanted and hoarding BoE's.I got into "playing" the Auction House a few months before my break, but so much has changed since then that I'd need to take a few days to catch up!Once I'm caught up I'd like to spend actual time making gold, hopefully enough for a sub and some shiny stuff :)Raiding, acquiring titles and farming Invincible's Reins.
it seems like they keep bringing forward those who owns loads of gold. mounts get more and more expensive and more effort to get that amount of gold. and its ok, if rewards and amount of gold that fills players pockets also increases.glad i might get all ZG reciepes... fun items back then. and great some of trade skills of my chars gona get some additional recipes! good things happen!
I didnt level archeology during legion, it wasn't relevant to me. I farm gold with savage blood, hunting wolves in Nagrand, and sometimes I farm selling some flasks! My gold milestone was 1 million gold. When i reached it, i felt the happiest man in the world haha
I was gone for most of Legion, so no I didn't do much archeology after getting my main to 800. I'm doing it now though for the battle pet. LOL! Thanks for the info.
After reading this, I feel like I should spend a lot more time gold farming. I do use TSM for the auction house, mostly because I hate checking prices on every single thing. The only thing I usually farm is ore, it usually sells pretty well.
i like to try the beta
I also wholly recommend getting that pet while you can, it's one of the few ways to get a Wyrmtongue pet, the others being from pvp, and it's a really cool pet.
this was the 1st expansion where i got 100k on one toon. have seen steady increases on all toons. my main why of making gold at the beginning was Obliterum selling, running old content and questing also helped.after reading this post i see i can be doing so much more. i did digging for the mousse mount but to see u can make money of toys and pets is something ill do before bfa
I left this game right after cata came out and just came back in April. I had no idea what archaeology was all about. I listened to people griping about it, saying it was boring and the like. So I decided to try it out and found it to be interesting to go back to the old areas to find these relics. So now I am working on collecting as much as I can until BFA comes out. So I spend so time on it each day.
I have did much digging at the start of Legion, because I liked archeology quests!I hope for more unique questlines.
I majorly did arch on my Mage, but in Legion have started to get my other toons into it because the Legion arch starts at 1. I have to get my stamina up to get my 12 toons to do their quest to get the Wyrmy Tunkins Pet. Having to do dialysis three times a week (12 hours total) takes alot out of me. I swear that while they are taking toxins and water out of my blood they are sucking up all of my energy also. Good luck to all that are entering. Cheers!
I just complete the digging amount achievement in Legion, and of course, I finished all the archeology quests. I do like the weekly archeology quests, it is something that blizz plan for you and you can only finish one by one. Less than one hour per week, you would be done with the archeology.
I have 24 exalted reputations on my main. Not as much as I would like to have but I suppose I could quickly increase this number with the help of timewalking rep tokens (which I will probably do).I didn't pick recipes from Zandalar Tribe :-/ As for the Battle for Azeroth's Pets as soon as I hit level 120 with my mage and warlock and get some decent gear, I am planning to catch any battle pets I will spot on during my travels (i.e. during world quests and treasure/rare hunting).
I didn't do much digging in Legion. I only did enough to get the cool moose mount. I know Archaeology has a bunch of fun toys, but it's always been too boring for me. I just can't bring myself to dedicate much time to it unless there is a seriously cool reward for it. I'd still be willing to give Archaeology another shot in BFA if it is a bit more interesting and has worthwhile rewards. Anyway, I had no idea about the pet so I guess I should log on and do some digging! Thanks for the tip!
I have hit 1 milion gold milestone today. I did some farming , i like battered hilt farm but most of my gold income is coming for dozens of alts and thier mission table. I have never experienced launch of the new expansion but i want to go ham this time and make milions of gold wish me luck ! :)
I love that they're bringing back old lost recipes, particularly for Leatherworking. Also gives me hope for many other aspects of removed or disabled content making a return at some point. I think it's just good practice in MMOs to give players a chance to get old & virtually exclusive-to-expansion content. Same reason I love Timewalking. I've pretty much looked at the reputation grind the same way and have most reps at Revered or Exalted now. Still got some work on the more obscure ones, but I'm getting there! Pets are a bit of another story. I haven't spent a lot of time on it outside of enjoyed collecting rare ones when I come across them in the world. Might get in to it more with BfA? I'm not sure yet. Also, great read from Mochaboys on money making in general. Lots of great advice and ideas that I plan on integrating in to my own routine! I don't spend a lot of time on making money but advice like these discussions spikes my interest in it, primarily with the idea of making WoW free to play with an efficient gold revenue.Lastly, thanks for the giveaway opportunity! I've been lucky enough to get prior beta invites from Blizzard directly but nothing yet this time. I'm excited to get in there and try it / test it!
