Half of the shaman t3 set (original naxx set) from the bmah... let's just say I've spent more on that that I'm willing to admit ^^
I do not usually buy any expensive from ah, only (cheap)mats, but i sell a lot. I really like to farm or craft things, but i was unlucky with the Minion of Grumpus so this was my most expensive purchase since I had to buy it. (if I remember correctly :D )
If i remember correctly my most expensive purchase was jeweled onyx panther for 180k or so
Vial of the Sands
Most expensive for me was a Glyph of Dark Absolution for about 9k.
Most expensive was probably a Darkmoon Rabbit for about 100k gold during Draenor. All of that sweet, sweet garrison income opened up my wallet finally.
The most costly things I have bought off the AH would probably be leveling kits to level professions. A while ago I had a lot of gold, and then I leveled all my toons to max level, and decided that the quickest way to get their proffs up would be to buy things off the AH to follow the zygor guides I had for leveling proffs. Now I am down to around 650k. I had 1 of every toon at max level on alliance, then I had 2 max level toons on horde. I tried to find someone to trade me the money on alliance that I would need on horde, but they wouldn't do that, so I didn't get the horde proffs maxed.
only things i usually buy are enchants and gems. the most expensive day i think was when i decided to get the riddler's mmind worm nad had to buy all these potions at exorbitant prices.
The most expensive i bought from the AH is and was WoW token for sure :)
I never use AH to sell things even though I have three alts that farm ore and herbs, nothing else lol! But after a long life as a farmed I wanted to have Engineering and Jewelcrafting at top so, I bought a WoW token (at that time the token was 25k, LMAO) and bought all the required mats to boost both professions to max xDThen again, I never use AH to sell things so I wasted all my mats and IRL money to make myself a couple of gems, LOL. I know it's not supposed to be a funny story but, in context, I bought 25k of mats~ Have a great day!
The most expensive I can think of, since I don't buy much these days, it would be spending 4-5k on a belt pattern back in TBC. Apparently, it belonged to a guildie who was an a bit of an a**hat, since he'd whine if I got loot and he didn't on runs for alts and socials (I'd stopped raiding actively by then).
Back in MoP, I managed to kill any Horde player around the black market and asked some Horde friends to kill Alliance ones for me, in order to buy the Reins of the Vitreous Stone Drake. I got it for something like 58k. It was a long but pleasant day for an outdoor pvp lover like me. I feel it was the most expansive purchase I ever made because of the time and efforts (and gold), but in fact, I also bought the Tabard of the Lightbringer in WoD for 100k. I just had enough gold to afford this kind of stuff without thinking twice and it was fitting pretty well with my transmog at that time. Well, in the end it wasn't worth it, 'cause I don't use that transmog anymore, but you know, it's still in the collection tab !
It was probably some potions I bought :D I was getting ready for the guild raid and just realized how much I spent. Aaaand unfortunately I don't have much money. :/
I bought the Vial of the Sands for 115k as my most expensive AH purchase.
Most expensive, hmm ... mount from legendary axe quest, soultrader pet and spectral tiger cub pet.Sure, nowadays you pay more for a stack of flasks or pots, but when I bought these, 50k were not that fast to come by.
wowtoken 150kk :D
Just before my subsciption ends, i bought like 40k worth of chaos crystal and 18k for the dust and made enchants with all of them. Then put it to the bank so my mate could sell them and buy himself a token.
Most expensive single item I've ever bought was WoW tokens for about 50k each during Draenor when I couldn't afford the RL money price to stay subbed.Outside of tokens, probably the 40k I spent on a crafted belt for my paladin tank during MistsMost expensive AH visit was probably when I recently dropped close to 175k total to powerlevel the professions on a toon I hadn't played since BC that is now my main on that server.
The most I ever spent one one item was 19k. You know what it was? Some stupid AH part for the WoD garrison. Though since I still regularly use it when I want the AH, I suppose it was probably worth it. Second highest wasn't AH, but it was 15k for an Alani kill. Also worth it.Oh. if you count tokens, the most I spent on one was 165k. Didn't think of that.
Outside of tokens, the most expensive thing I've bought in recent memory was a crafted legendary for 50k (which I flipped for double that).
